Marco Silva’s side are currently in 13th place on 24 points heading into the latest round of midweek fixtures. Fulham were defeated 1-0 in their last Premier League match at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea and are eight points above the relegation zone. The Cottagers will look to cement their top-flight status in the second half of the campaign and are only five points behind Newcastle in tenth.
Everton played out a goalless draw against Aston Villa at Goodison Park in their most recent league outing to extend their winless streak to four (W0 D1 L3), leaving them in 17th place on 17 points. The Toffees are just a point clear of the relegation zone with 17 matches remaining as they look to navigate their way through this difficult season.
Fulham vs Everton Tips
First up on Tuesday I’ve taken a lean towards a Bet Builder double with Unibet that consists of Everton to win or draw the match, along with Dominic Calvert-Lewin to record a shot on target at 6/5.
Everton looked much improved against Aston Villa last time out in the league after three prior defeats. The Toffees have performed well on the road this season with only the current top two sides Liverpool (6) and Manchester City (7) having won more Premier League away games this season than Everton (5). Fulham have lost four of their last five in the league and I’m backing Everton to pick up at least a point.
The return to full fitness of Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been a welcome one for Sean Dyche, although the Everton forward has still only managed three goals this season. When it comes to hitting the target DCL has been much more consistent, managing to test goalkeepers in six of his last seven league matches with shots on target totals of: 3,3,1,1,1,0,1.
At 15/1 I’m also getting behind Joao Palhinha and Jarrad Branthwaite to be carded. Sky Bet are top price on both players being carded on Tuesday giving us a nice 15/1 double, with other firms such as bet365 going considerably shorter at 17/2.
Joao Palhinha was shown more yellow cards than any other player in the 2022/23 season (14) and ranks second in the Premier League again this time round having been shown eight, along with Nicolas Jackson. The Brazilian has been booked in 44% of his league outings this term.
Idrissa Gueye and Jarrad Branthwaite are the most carded players for Everton this season having both being shown six yellows. The latter should find himself in a nice battle with Raul Jimenez in this clash and combining him with Palhinha to be carded pays 15/1.
