Dorival Junior has described his first game in charge of the national side as the 'most exciting day of my life'. The traditional 'samba' style of old had gone away for the best part of a decade and top of his list has to be a return to this staple.
Whether that's achievable or not remains to be seen, and although Brazil should bring the party to Wembley in the stands, there's a huge question mark over whether this new-look team can gel immediately. It's expected that uncapped players will creep into double figures between both teams on Saturday, with a number of absentees frustrating Gareth Southgate.
This relatively unknown entity of Brazil can provide a tough challenge for a formidable England at Wembley who've never lost a home friendly under Southgate. That means we're choosing to believe this will be a high-scoring affair despite the usual placid nature of friendlies.
As you already know, Jude Bellingham has been a sensation since arriving at Madrid. The 20-year-old has delivered 16 goals in 22 La Liga appearances, which climbs up to 20 in 31 games when factoring fixtures across all competitions. He last featured for the Three Lions in their 3-1 win over Italy last October, deployed in a now familiar central attacking midfielder role influenced by his fantastic club form.
With absences somewhat forcing Southgate's hand in selection terms, there'll be even more emphasis on Jude to create. His five goals for the senior team can and will be improved upon, especially since he's returned four goal involvements in his last two caps.
Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr has also recorded some decent numbers in the midst of some harsh playing conditions this season. He's posted 12 goals in 20 La Liga matches, boasting a further six in 28 total matches.
The mercurial forward will know himself that his returns on the international stage have left something to be desired, and this clash with the EURO 2024 favourites could supply him with the perfect stage to showcase his talent.
He will be well supported in attack, working alongside Madrid companion Rodrygo and Tottenham's Richarlison, who have the potential to be a very sharp frontline given time and resources. With two goals and three assists in his last eight outings in yellow and green, we're happy to get Vini Jr onside to score.
