Champions League Winner Odds 2023/24: Man City favourites to retain their European crown

It may only be just over a month since Man City lifted the trophy to complete a famous treble, but the qualification process for the 2023/24 Champions League is already underway.
Here at BettingOdds.com, we've examined some of the top contenders in the betting to win the 69th edition of Europe's top prize, with multiple top-rated betting sites featured.
Manchester City - 2/1
Out as the understandable frontrunners for 2023/24 UCL glory are last season's winners Manchester City. Their win over Inter Milan at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul helped Pep Guardiola's side complete the elusive treble, coming shortly after retaining the Premier League title by five points and lifting the FA Cup over neighbours Manchester United.
During their 13-game path to securing the club's first ever Champions League trophy, the Cityzens won eight matches and lost zero, blitzing the likes of Europa League winners Sevilla, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and 2021/22 winners Real Madrid along the way.
Pep's men have finally shook the monkey from their back by overcoming their UCL demons and are set to be an even scarier prospect next season with extra recruits. If you fancy their chances to successfully defend their new European crown, 2/1 - cut from an initial 9/4 - is now being offered.
Bayern Munich - 7/1
Last triumphant in 2020, the competition's third most successful club behind Real Madrid and AC Milan have won three of the five finals they've featured in this millennium.
The Germans endured an underwhelming season by their usually high standards, switching Julian Nagelsmann for Thomas Tuchel in March and bringing home the Bundesliga title for an 11th successive year.
However, being handed a good spanking by the eventual winners in their quarter-final first leg tie at the Etihad will have dealt a humiliating blow to the prestigious Munich club.
Things should be improved next term as the Krumbach-born Tuchel looks to implement his long-term ideas in the Bavarian capital. 7/1 is the price that the bookies have settled on to oppose City's hopeful European dominance.
Real Madrid - 10/1
The European Cup's most decorated side are involved in every season's conversation about potential winners. Estimations of just a 9.09% chance of success may stagger some considering they've won the trophy an unmatched 14 times and have already announced the early arrival of starlet Jude Bellingham for next campaign.
That being said, the transition from an established team to the new era of Real Madrid greats is ongoing. Almost all of the players involved in winning four of the five titles available to them between 2014-2018 have moved on, with Karim Benzema the latest of those to bid the Santiago Bernabeu farewell.
Carlo Ancelotti returned in 2021 and helped Los Blancos add another piece of UCL silverware to the cabinet, but 2022's victory over Liverpool is their only success in this competition in the five most recent renewals.
PSG - 12/1
Recent reports coming out of the City of love have only been centred around one topic: Kylian Mbappe's next club. The native superstar's contract is set to expire next summer, with the 2022 World Cup finalist stating that he does not wish to sign an extension.
This followed monumental news that Lionel Messi will leave Paris Saint Germain to join MLS side Inter Miami. Two years on from his Barcelona departure, the French fairytale is over and PSG could be without two of their three star-studded forward line which promised to bring a first UCL crown to Paris. Manager Christophe Galtier has also been replaced by Champions League winner Luis Enrique.
Having only progressed beyond the quarter-finals stage of the tournament on two occasions since their 2011 takeover, PSG did open up at 9/1 for 2023/24 success, a price which has since increased to 12/1.
Barcelona - 12/1
Barcelona had been interested in the prospect of resigning academy graduate Lionel Messi, but their continued financial troubles thwarted any potential deal from materialising.
They may have found themselves slightly shorter in the betting had they pulled off that remarkable feat, but as it stands, the 12/1 will likely not be large enough for a team who are rapidly approaching 10 years since their last UCL achievement.
Arsenal - 14/1
Rounding out the top six in the betting is Arsenal, 14/1, who will return to the Champions League for the first time since 2017.
It's a competition Arsenal have never won, with their best finish coming back in 2006 when they lost out to Barcelona in the Final, while they've been knocked out in the last-16 in each of their last seven appearances between 2010/11 and 2016/17.
Arsenal have since had to take part in the Europa League, where they lost to Chelsea in the 2018/19 final.
Rejuvenated last season in the Premier League - finishing 2nd to Man City - Arsenal have splashed the cash this summer on Kai Havertz, with the arrivals of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber both imminent.
