Cardinals @ Rams Betting Tips: Kyler to glide past Rams pass rush

Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams Tips
We are five games down out of six on this NFL Super Wildcard Weekend and Neil Monnery thinks the best game is still to come. A 1:15AM start might be too late for many but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a bet or two live whilst sleeping to see whether the betting account will be richer upon waking. With 13/10, 10/3 and 10/1 winners already on his ledger for the weekend, can he make it three profitable previews from three...?
Cardinals @ Rams Odds
Throughout the NFL season, one team has given me fits and starts and that is the Arizona Cardinals. I just don’t know what to make of them. One week they can look like the best team in the league and the next, well let’s just say that is not exactly the case.
Kyler Murray is one of the most exciting and dynamic players that we’ve ever seen play the Quarterback position. He’s electric on the ground and when the 24 year-old is playing well, that RPO game is extremely difficult to defend. Tonight he’ll face one of the better pass rushes about with Aaron Donald, Leonard Floyd and Von Miller all available to key in on the third-year player in the backfield.
This is why I think we’ll see Murray use his legs a lot more than he’s done for most of the season. A strong push up front means either you have to get the ball out quick or use misdirection as your best friend. If you can slow down the defense by utilising the RPO game or by using pre-snap motion then it would give the Cardinals a much better chance of winning the game.
As for the home side, I don’t think it is the biggest secret that the Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp connection is key to their success. Anytime a receiver has more 100 yard games than he doesn’t in a season then it is pretty darn impressive. This year only six times did they fail to hook up for three-digit yards in a game and only once were they below 90. That is insane. It is no surprise that the shortest prices when it comes to the Prop Bet markets all revolve around the former third-round pick out of Eastern Washington. I'm going to bypass these markets as I think the prices are just too short.
The Rams brought in Matthew Stafford in the off-season for games like this. Sean McVay saw the veteran as an upgrade over Jared Goff and he’s been repaid with a nigh on 5,000 yard season. An 0-3 playoff record shouldn’t be held against him as they were with the hapless Lions but this is a big game for his legacy. I am a big Stafford fan but I do wonder how he'll deal with the pressure.
These two teams have already faced-off twice this season with the away side walking away the victory on both occasions. I’m going to say that carries on and that the Cardinals pull off the upset and win this game straight up. This is currently trading at 6/4.
I will put up a bigger priced prop bet alongside the Moneyline pick as I think Kyler Murray will run a lot tonight. When it comes to the playoffs, you are never playing for tomorrow so 50+ rushing yards and a rushing TD has been boosted to 15/2 with Paddy Power and Betfair. I think that is a more than tempting price.
