Group F
Sun, 27th Nov - 16:00
Khalifa International Stadium, Doha
Both teams finished top of their respective qualifying groups. Croatia topped Group H which included Russia, Slovakia and Slovenia and looked impressive in doing so, conceding just four goals and scoring 21. Of course Croatia had a stunning World Cup back in 2018, beating England in the semis, before losing to France in the Final. They are managed by Zlatko Dalić and have several uk based players including Ranger's Borna Barisic, Celtic's Josip Juranovic, Mateo Kovacic of Chelsea and Nikola Vlasic of West Ham. They are a 66/1 shot to win the tournament outright.
Canada stunned the world of football by topping the CONCACAF section and qualifying for just their second World Cup. Englishman John Herdman led the Maple Leafs to this magnificent achievement and they possess some recognisable names such as Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies, Reading's Junior Hoilett and Richie Laryea from Nottingham Forest.
This will be the first match-up between the two sides in international competition.
