Next Cheltenham Town Manager Betting Odds

Cheltenham Town have appointed Wade Elliott as their new manager following the exit of Michael Duff to Barnsley.
Established in 1887, Cheltenham Town had always been associated with the Non-League scene, but in more recent times they have been a mainstay of the lower echelons of the Football League having worked their way through the leagues.
After appointing Steve Cotterill in the 1996/1997 season, the Robins began on a meteoric rise up the football ladder and promotion from the Southern League Premier saw them promoted to the Conference and it only took a couple of years before Cotterill gained another promotion and the club found themselves playing in the football league.
Cotterill continued to inspire and in the 2002-2003 season, Cheltenham Town were victorious in the play-offs and ventured into the second division, but at the end of the season, Cotterill left and went to Stoke City and the club failed to cement their position in Division Two and suffered relegation the following season.
Another play-off success under the stewardship of John Ward saw them return to the third tier of English football, but yet again suffered relegation to League Two.
A mixed set of recent results has seen Cheltenham Town collect wins versus Morecambe, AFC Wimbledon, Portsmouth while suffering adverse results at Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield Wednesday, Lincoln City, Bolton Wanderers. Draws against Accrington Stanley, Gillingham, Cambridge United has seen them show mid-table form at best.
