Ukraine vs Belgium Bet Builder Tips
Ukraine and Belgium both recovered from surprise stuttering starts to the tournament by winning their respective second group stage games, meaning all four teams are glued on three points: Romania are top on goal difference, Belgium are 2nd, Slovakia 3rd, and Ukraine 4th with a negative goal difference.
There are a lot of factors and permutations at play here but, simply put, a win will see either side go through, and potentially win the group in the process. With this in mind I can see this being an open and frantic match, not too dissimilar to the 3-2 thriller we saw yesterday between Austria and the Netherlands. Goals are surely on the cards tonight, with six of Ukraine's last seven matches going over 2.5 goals, making this outcome a real possibility at 4/5.
Belgium were much improved in their 2-0 defeat of Romania, with Kevin de Bruyne showcasing his quality, while the unfortunate Romelu Lukaku had another goal chalked off which takes his tally to three disallowed goals this summer.
Both players feature in this Midnite Bet Builder. De Bruyne scored against Romania but it's an assist I'm after at 2/1. He conjured up 18 assists in 26 matches for Man City last season to extend his career total to a ridiculous 304; 49 of which have come for the national team.
Lukaku is due some luck and I feel this will come against Ukraine, who were torn apart by Romania and then conceded against Slovakia. Lukaku has a stunning record at international level - 85 goals in 117 games - and can be backed at 21/20 to add another tonight.
Ukraine's Mykhaylo Mudryk has had 17 shots, and seven on target, in his last 10 games. Six of those shots have taken place at Euro 2024, two of which have been on target. He's even-money to test the keeper tonight which brings the Bet Builder to 8/1.
