These two clubs have played 93 times in the league over the years, with Liverpool dominating the fixture as you would expect, picking up 47 wins to Saints' 25 and 21 have ended up all square.

The first seven games between the two were in the FA Cup, with the first meeting back in 1902 -  a 4-1 win for Southampton. It took until 1960 before the clubs finally met up in Division One - and another 4-1 win for Saints! The same scoreline tonight is a 200/1 shot if you fancy it...

However, in 30 starts he has picked up 10 yellow cards, including five in his last nine. Against the likes of Jota, Mane and Diaz tonight, he looks a fair bet to pick up another. The 25-year-old Colombian looks like the signing of the season and should step straight into Mo Salah's shoes when he eventually decides to leave The Reds. Diaz has notched 13 shots on target in 10 starts and has cleared this line in five games this season. Here he is up against one of the least in-form sides in the division and Liverpool will be desperate to make up the goal difference on City. 

The last pick is for the Saints talisman James Ward-Prowse to have a shot on target. Prowse leads Southampton for goals, shots and is second in shots on target. As one of the Premier League's best ever set piece specialists, the 27-year-old is a constant threat from dead ball opportunities and this pick has landed in five of his last seven outings - whilst playing for a team who look sat firmly on the beach.
