Scotland vs. Ukraine Betting Tips: Two Bets for this Nations League clash

Scotland vs Ukraine Odds
International football resumes on Wednesday evening as Scotland welcome Ukraine in a 1st Vs 2nd Nations League B Group 1 fixture, live on Sky Sports.
Scotland vs Ukraine Tips
Scotland will be seeking some revenge Vs Ukraine here, as it was the away side that ended Scottish hopes of qualifying for the World Cup just shy of four months ago – Ukraine winning 3-1 on the day, but still falling short in the play off final game Vs Wales to grab qualification.
These two sides occupy the first two places in this Nations League group and with this being a game in hand as a rescheduled fixture, it gives a real opportunity for either side to create slight breathing space over the other.
The bookies have the hosts as slight favourites as it stands - Scotland are sitting around 6/4, with Ukraine 15/8 and the draw 21/10
I am happy to back the travelling side in our favour here using the Asian markets. Backing Ukraine on this handicap gives us money back if it ends a draw, with a full win if they manage all 3 points.
Not qualifying for the World Cup will hurt the Ukrainians, but their response since their defeat to Wales has been good – collecting 2 wins and draw in their last 3. Scotland haven’t been so good as of recent, only collecting 2 wins across their last 6 matches, both coming against Armenia. This Scotland side lost 3-1 to Ukraine just a few months ago on home soil, so it’ll be a tough ask for a result Wednesday evening, even more so without injured captain Andrew Robertson.
I’ve already outlined my reasoning for getting Ukraine on side here, but for the longshot I’m happy to go one better.
Yarmolenko is my pick of the bunch for the Ukrainian goalscorers. He has 4 goal contributions in his last 4 matches and should be a threat once again Wednesday evening - he also was on the scoresheet when these sides met in June.
Although I am siding with Ukraine here I would be surprised to see Scotland get a goal. Che Adams is a great addition to the side, and with this being a glorified friendly, goals could well be on the cards.
