Sadio Mane Next Club Odds: A return to the Premier League on the horizon

Sadio Mane’s move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich caught many of the football world off guard and it’s a move that has not gone to plan for the German giants.
The Senegalese international has only got seven league goals to his name this season, with his side Bayern Munich on the verge of missing out on a Bundesliga title to their main rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Following a disappointing season for the forward, it’s being reported that he is to be sold this summer with several clubs said to be interested.
We’ve looked at the betting market to see what the betting sites suggest for his next move.
Chelsea
Chelsea have been installed as the 13/8 favourites for Sadio Mane’s signature in the summer.
Chelsea will be looking to completely rebuild after an incredibly disappointing season. They’ve proved already this year that they are not shy of splashing the cash and if Mane is on the market, Chelsea will definitely be interested in a Premier League-proven winger.
Mane is nothing short of a Premier League legend having won the title with Liverpool, scoring 111 goals in the league which is more than the likes of Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo!
The papers are suggesting that with Mauricio Pochettino coming in this summer for Chelsea, he’s very interested in the ex-Liverpool man and it would be some signing if the Blues can get the best out of him.
Newcastle
Newcastle are always given a mention in the betting market for big transfers these days thanks to their new owners having a serious amount of cash in their pockets.
The Toon are the second favourites in the market, but at 8/1 it’s hard to see them as a solid leader in the market.
Newcastle will be going into next season with European football in their calendar and that is what normally attracts the biggest stars.
Eddie Howe has done a fantastic job to build a side that can compete with the big boys in the Premier League and a player like Mane will be a massive statement of intent to challenge for trophies next season.
They can definitely afford him and if they can convince him on the project, 8/1 might be a decent bet.
Liverpool
Of course, Liverpool are mentioned in the betting at the big price of 10/1 at the time of writing this. Liverpool fans would most likely be more than happy to welcome the winger back but it really doesn’t make much sense for him to return.
Liverpool have Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Fabio Carvalho, Darwin Nunez and Mo Salah all as attacking options meaning they have no need to invest in another winger like Mane.
Liverpool will most likely focus on signing a midfielder this upcoming window with James Milner leaving the club. Klopp is always banging on about Liverpool’s lack of funds for transfer so he’ll have to be careful with his signings and that should rule out Mane’s return.
Other clubs
The three other clubs in the market are all north of 10/1 in the betting market and they are Inter, Arsenal and Juventus.
There are no solid rumours linking Sadio to these clubs and it looks to just be some filler for the betting market.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Mane if he is to leave Bayern Munich and, if he is, expect plenty of clubs to enquire about him.
