Real Madrid vs Braga Tips
Vinicius Jr to have 2+ shots on target
Despite not being their top scorer with Jude Bellingham being their most prolific so far, I still view Vinicius as their main goal threat. The Brazilian has been on fire for Real Madrid in the past few seasons. In the 22/23 season he scored 23 goals and the season prior to that he scored 22.
In the Champions League this season he is currently averaging 1.5 shots on target per game and per 90 mins that improves to 1.6. Considering that Madrid are 1/4 favourites here you’d expect them to have the vast majority of possession and shots, you’d fancy Vinicius to be testing the goalkeeper a bit.
SkyBet are offering 11/10 for the forward to have two shots on target and with Madrid being poised perfectly for a convincing victory here, I’d say he’s likely to have two attempts on goal.
Alvaro Djalo to be carded
Next up we’re looking at the to be carded market and Braga’s winger Alvaro Djalo has caught our eye. The Spaniard has played three games in the Champions League so far and has seen himself be yellow carded once and when it comes to league games he has been carded in his last two.
More importantly, when we focus on the fouls market, Djalo is one of the more reckless players in the Braga side. In the Champions League, he is currently averaging two fouls per game and in Liga Portugal he’s averaging 1.6.
As we previously mentioned it’s expected that Madrid will have the majority of the ball this game and this winger could very well have to do a fair tracking back to help on the defensive side and that’s where he may be warned by the referee. With his foul numbers being so high, he looks a great bet for a card and at 5/2, we’ll be backing it.
