Sean Dyche remains the 5/2 favourite in the betting following a poor winless start to the season during which 18th-placed Everton have picked up just one point from five matches, scoring just two goals so far.
The Toffees came unstuck against Fulham, Aston Villa, and Wolves, which was followed by a 2-2 draw against new boys Sheffield United, then a 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal.
Sheffield United's Paul Heckingbottom is next in the running at 9/2. The Blades boss came agonisingly close to claiming his first win of the season on Saturday away to an in-form Spurs, only for the hosts to dramatically score twice in injury-time to leave the Yorkshire side crushed.
"The officiating is appalling," Heckingbottom raged after the game. "It's not about the football decisions, just game management. My worry is that all the focus is on the yellow cards, time-wasting, the new guidelines."
There has since been a report in The Telegraph which states that Sheffield United's former manager Chris Wilder could be in the frame for a return to Bramall Lane if Heckingbottom is unable to turn results around.
Up next is another winless manager in Rob Edwards, 8/1, whose Luton side are rock-bottom of the table after losing each of their opening four games to Brighton, Chelsea, West Ham, and Fulham.
Edwards will hope this sequence of results comes to an end in upcoming games against Wolves, Everton, and Burnley.
Erik ten Hag's odds have been cut to just 8/1 with William Hill, although the under-fire Man Utd boss can still be backed out at 20/1 with Bet Victor.
The Red Devils have lost three of their opening five league matches, with their return of six points representing their worst start since 2014/15.
Ten Hag was notably booed after he subbed off new signing Rasmus Hojlund for Anthony Martial, which capped off a difficult week for the Dutchman who has been at loggerheads with Jadon Sancho.
United now make the tricky trip to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, which is followed by a visit to Burnley next weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino was previously a 28/1 outsider but is now as short as 12/1 to be the next manager to leave.
14th-placed Chelsea have scraped one win from their first five matches, which includes a defeat at home to Nottingham Forest and a goalless draw at Bournemouth.
Other managers to keep an eye on include the winless duo of Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth) and Vincent Kompany (Burnley) who can be backed at 16/1 and 25/1 respectively.
