Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: Ruben Amorim red hot favourite

Ruben Amorim has been installed as the red-hot favourite to become the third casualty of the 2025/26 Premier League Sack Race following West Ham's decision to sack Graham Potter.
Potter became the second victim of this season's Sack Race after he was axed in late September and replaced by Nuno Espirito Santo, who himself was sacked by Nottingham Forest earlier in the month during the international break.
Now, attention has swiftly moved over to Amorim, who is fearing for his future at Old Trafford.

Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: The Favourites
We've run through the top contenders to be the third exit of the season, according to the latest odds - see the full market in the odds table above.
Ruben Amorim (Man Utd): 8/11
Ruben Amorim is back under the spotlight following Man United's miserable 3-1 defeat at Brentford, which meant he's yet to win back-to-back Premier League games as Man United manager.
Initially touted as the man to revitalise the club, Amorim's debut 2024/25 campaign fell far short of expectations - managing just seven wins from 27 Premier League matches, with 14 defeats, as United slumped to 15th, their worst finish since 1974/75.
There haven't been any signs of improvement this season with United slumping to three defeats from their opening six games which leaves the club 14th in the table and Amorim as the odds-on favourite for the sack.
Ange Postecoglou (Nottingham Forest): 15/2
Ange Postecoglou has only just taken charge at Nottingham Forest, but he's already the second favourite to be sacked.
Since replacing Nuno Espírito Santo, the Australian has failed to win any of his first five matches in all competitions.
Forest have managed just one point from their opening three league games under Postecoglou, leaving them just one place and one point above the relegation zone. A recent 1-0 home defeat to Sunderland has added early pressure on the new boss.
Unai Emery (Aston Villa): 8/1
Unai Emery's odds have shortened from 25/1 to just 8/1 in the betting following a slow start to the season.
After narrowly missing out on a top-five finish last season, Villa fans were expecting another strong showing this campaign, especially considering their favourable run of fixtures.
However, the reality has been far from ideal, with Villa having won only one of their opening six matches. On the plus side, these three points were secured last time out against Fulham.
Vitor Pereira (Wolves): 12/1
On one hand, Wolves are rock-bottom of the Premier League table and the only club yet to pick up a win after six games.
Yet, their boss, Vitor Pereira, has just been handed a brand new contract through to the end of the 2028 season, so he appears to be going nowhere anytime soon.
Still, the club will want to see an improvement quickly before Wolves are cut adrift at the bottom.
Enzo Maresca (Chelsea): 22/1
One manager to keep a close eye on is Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca whose odds have been slashed to 12/1 with most bookmakers, although you can still back him out at 22/1 with Sky Bet.
Chelsea’s 2024/25 campaign looked to be unravelling before a strong finish saw them secure Champions League football and lift the Conference League trophy. They then claimed a stunning triumph in the Club World Cup after Maresca conjured up a managerial masterclass over PSG's Luis Enrique.
As a result, Chelsea were brimming with confidence heading into the new season, only to underwhelm at the start of the campaign, with the Blues already seven points adrift of Liverpool.
History shows that stability is rarely a luxury at Stamford Bridge. With Chelsea’s notoriously short managerial leash, Maresca at a hefty 22/1 could tempt those who are expecting potential turbulence in the upcoming weeks.
