Premier League Tips for Thursday
West Ham vs Bournemouth Tip
These teams opened their seasons with a 1-1 draw on the south coast in August and the draw looks a good-value option when they meet again at the London Stadium.
The Hammers failed to beat Championship club Bristol City twice, going out of the FA Cup in a 1-0 third-round replay defeat, and they followed that with a 2-2 league draw at struggling Sheffield United when both teams scored late penalties and received red cards in added time.
Bournemouth have been in fine scoring form, netting three or more goals in five of their last seven games, although they were trounced 4-0 at home by Liverpool in their last league outing with all the goals coming in the second half.
The Hammers will benefit from some strong reinforcements if Mohammed Kudus and Kalvin Phillips are both selected, while Bournemouth's defensive injuries could leave them vulnerable.
Rather than picking either side to win, the return on them playing out another draw looks far better value.
It could be a higher-scoring game this time given Bournemouth's current prolific run and their defensive vulnerability, so an interest in a 2-2 correct-score at 12-1 might also be a smart move.
Wolves have continued to defy the odds this season, and Thursday's contest presents another solid chance for them to improve their position in the league table.
The Midlands outfit have only lost one of their previous 10 in all competitions, and O'Neil has done well to make his team hard to beat, even with injuries and selection issues hampering his decision-making.
O'Neil's men have used Molineux as a fortress in recent months, with their last defeat in front of their own fans coming back in September, a run of nine matches.
Only Liverpool and Brighton have recorded victories at Molineux this season, and United should not threaten this week.
The Red Devils have failed to win any of their last four league games, failing to score in three defeats during that time.
Should Wolves succeed, striker Cunha will be at the forefront of their attack.
The Brazilian seems to have finally found his feet in the Premier League, and he has led by example for the majority of the campaign.
He has already scored six goals this season, while he has been directly involved in seven goals across his last six home appearances for Wolves in all competitions.
With Hwang still away on international duty, we expect O'Neil to lean heavily on Cunha, who can cause United trouble on what should be a difficult night for Ten Hag's side.
