Premier League Most Assists Cheat Sheet

The Premier League season kicks off on Friday 13 August and after the success of our Cheat Sheets for the recent European Championships, we’ll be producing them for various Premier League outright markets and matches throughout the coming season.
We’ve already taken a look at the top goalscorer market and now it’s the time for the ‘most assists’ market. We’ve listed the main players and have looked back at some of their data from last season which includes appearances, number of assists, key passes per game and expected assists (xA).
Unlike the top goalscorer market, the most assists market does not have each-way places being offered and you can view all the prices below, along with our stand out stats.below.
Most Assists Premier League 2020/2021
- 14 - Harry Kane
- 12 - Kevin De Bruyne
- 12 - Bruno Fernandes
- 10 - Son Heung-min
- 10 - Jack Grealish

King Kev
First up let’s talk about Kevin. The Belgian superstar has been named the PFA player of the year in the last two seasons and is also the favourite to assist the most goals in the league this season, at 3/1 with Paddy Power.
Only four players in Europe’s top five leagues provided more assists than De Bruyne with 12 last season. The midfielder appeared 25 times in the league and had he not had any injuries, one would have fancied him to finish top ahead of Harry Kane with 14.
No player in the division provided more key passes per game than the 30-year-old last season with an impressive 3.2 on average. In the season prior, he equalled Thierry Henry’s record of 20 assists in one league campaign, and there’s no question in our opinion that he should be the favourite in this market. 3/1 isn’t the most glamorous of prices but if he stays injury-free it’s hard to not see KDB right up there again this year.
Sancho’s Service
There was a refreshing nature for Manchester United fans around how the club conducted it’s business this summer, in a swift and efficient manner. The arrival of Jadon Sancho from Dortmund looks a great signing with the 21-year-old being offered at 14/1 to be crowned the player with the most assists this season.
Sancho’s creativity has been on show for all to see over in Germany for the past few years now and since 2017, he’s made 45 assists in the Bundesliga. Last season, Sancho provided 11 assists in 26 appearances, and his biggest haul came back in 2019/20 with 16 in 32.
With finishers such as Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes at the club, you would expect Sancho to emulate the same kind of numbers in the Premier League as he was in the Bundesliga.
