Man City vs Brentford
- Tuesday 20th February, 7.30pm
City may have seen their 11-match winning run ended by Chelsea on Saturday, but they still created more than enough chances to win that game, with Erling Haaland having had an uncharacteristic off day in front of goal.
The Norwegian goal machine may take his frustration out on the Brentford backline and City should have the firepower to get back on the winning trail and extend their unbeaten home record in the Premier League to 24 matches.
Not since November 2022 have the Citizens lost a league match at the Etihad, although the last visiting team to win there was Brentford.
The Bees did the double over City last season and also took the lead when the two teams met in west London earlier this month before succumbing to a 3-1 defeat.
A similar outcome could be on the cards on Tuesday as Brentford have scored in 10 matches on the spin in all competitions, although only two of those have ended in victory.
It would be a surprise to see Haaland fail to score on Tuesday if he is presented with the same amount of chances as he had against Chelsea, but the Premier League's top scorer has not found the back of the net in three previous encounters with Brentford.
While Haaland has struggled to find the key to unlock the Bees backline, City team-mate Phil Foden certainly hasn't, as he has scored five goals against Thomas Frank's side, including his hat-trick at the Gtech earlier this month.
Foden has struck six times for City since the turn of the year and despite still being in February, he is just one goal away from equalling his best-ever scoring season. Goal number 16 could well come this midweek.

Liverpool vs Luton
- Wednesday 21st February, 7.30pm
Liverpool have won six of their last seven Premier League matches and should have little trouble extending their lead at the top of the table in a high-scoring victory over Luton.
Klopp's side are red-hot favourites for the three points and a better value bet is to back the hosts to win in a match featuring at least four goals.
Liverpool's last six league games have all gone over 3.5 goals with a total of 28 in that period.
Only Arsenal and Manchester United have escaped Anfield with draws this season and Liverpool are clearly clicking, with Saturday's 4-1 triumph at Brentford the fifth time in all competitions they have managed to score at least four goals in 2024.
Luton might not have enough to leave Anfield with a positive result, although they could play their part in an attack-minded game.
The Hatters have scored in their last 12 Premier League games and that includes a 4-4 draw at Newcastle on their last top-flight away trip.
Town boss Rob Edwards has decided attack is the best form of defence and they gave United a scare in Sunday's 2-1 defeat.
However, that is nine goals conceded in their last three games and United managed nine shots on target, which suggests Liverpool's attackers should get plenty of joy, even if Klopp's men are far from full-strength.
Klopp will have to decide whether to gamble on Salah, who is just coming back from injury, so Luis Diaz looks a better first goalscorer bet at 6/1.
Diaz has chipped in with four goals in his last nine appearances and scored in successive Anfield encounters against Chelsea and Burnley.
He was also on target in the reverse fixture at Kenilworth Road when Liverpool scraped a late draw.
Expect things to be smoother for the rampant Reds back on home soil.
