Study: Stats reveal Old Trafford ranks as one of the easiest away days in the Premier League

Expected goals, or xG has become a stat that has taken modern media by storm and is now used as a standard measurement of a team's performance each game. But what about expected goals against (xGA)?
We’ve found that when it comes to games at their home stadium, Manchester United are ranking as the fourth-worst team in the league for expected goals against. The Red Devils have an xGA of 11.79 which is only beaten by Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheff Utd meaning even lowly Luton Town are conceding fewer high-quality chances at Kenilworth Road than United are at Old Trafford.
