Premier League 2025/26 Winner Odds
With the 2024/25 Premier League title wrapped up, bookmakers have sized up who they believe are in contention to lift the Premier League trophy in 2025/26, with a three-horse race predicted. Here's what the odds are saying:
Liverpool: 2/1 Favourites
Liverpool have been installed as the early favourites to win back-to-back titles for the first time in the Premier League era, having last achieved this feat in the early 1980s with a hat-trick of triumphs. At the time of writing, they are the best-priced 2/1 with Betfred.
Their last title defence didn’t quite go to plan - finishing 3rd and 17 points behind Man City in 2020/21 - but there’s already renewed optimism at Anfield. Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah have signed new contracts, and there’s growing speculation that Trent Alexander-Arnold could be next.
Liverpool are reportedly in the market for a new striker, adding further firepower to a squad that’s already hungry for more. There's also the added incentive of knowing that another league title would take them to 21; one clear of arch-rivals Manchester United, with both clubs currently tied on 20.
Man City: 9/4
Expect a huge response from a Manchester City side that fell well short in the title race this season. While Pep Guardiola’s men had won four consecutive Premier League titles before this campaign, there’ll be no complacency heading into next year. Make no mistake, Guardiola will be more determined than ever to reclaim the crown and secure what would be his seventh league title in nine seasons.
A summer rebuild is already on the cards. Kevin De Bruyne - one of the club’s all-time greats - is set to depart, and a number of other long-serving players could follow. In typical City fashion, expect major investment as they look to refresh and reload with top-tier talent.
At 9/4, this is the biggest ante-post price we've seen on City in years, and one that could look generous once the new season kicks off. It might just be the time to get in early before their odds inevitably shorten.
Arsenal: 5/2
Arsenal fans will need no reminding that it's been a staggering 21 years since their club last won the Premier League title. The Gunners have been handed early odds of 5/2 to finally end this lengthy drought in 2025/26.
Arsenal are set to be the Premier League bridesmaids for the third straight season as they head for yet another runners-up finish, although a trophy could be on the cards in the Champions League.
Mikel Arteta will no doubt be frustrated by his team's inability to capitalise on Liverpool’s rare slip-ups this season, and pressure is mounting for the club to finally invest in a world-class striker this summer; a move many believe could be the missing piece in their title push.
Best of the Rest
Just behind the leading trio in the Premier League winner market, Newcastle are priced at 13/1 with CopyBet. The Magpies have enjoyed a superb second half of the season, lifting the Carabao Cup and could go on to secure a third-place finish; their best league position since 2002/03.
Next up are Chelsea at 22/1, as they look to bounce back from an underwhelming domestic campaign and re-establish themselves as title contenders.
Further down the list, Aston Villa and Manchester United are both available at 34/1, followed by Tottenham at 66/1. Meanwhile, this season’s surprise package, Nottingham Forest, are 150/1 outsiders after their remarkable rise.
