Nuno Santo to Crystal Palace off? Steve Cooper, Eddie Howe, and Sean Dyche burst back into contention

Crystal Palace have pulled the plug on appointing Nuno Santo as their new manager.
Betting had previously been suspended on the former Wolves boss replacing Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park this summer.
The Portuguese coach, who was interviewed by Everton and had been linked with Tottenham, looked to be on the cusp of making a swift return to the dugout with the Eagles this week.
However, Sami Mokbel now reports that Palace have ended talks due to Nuno’s demands, and they will now explore alternative options.
Nuno can, however, still be backed at 6/1 - who knows, maybe the differences between the parties could be resolved - although he now finds himself as the new favourite for the Everton post.
As a result, the next Crystal Palace manager market has sprung back into life, with Swansea's Steve Cooper topping the betting at evens with Bet Victor.
Cooper has done an impressive job at the Swans who he’s led to consecutive top-six finishes in the Championship, however the Welsh side missed out on promotion on both occasions, including last month after they were beaten by Brentford in the play-off final.
He’s since been hotly linked with Palace; speculation which appeared to have been put to bed due to Nuno's expected appointment, however the latest twist in the club’s hunt for a new boss means that Cooper has rocketed back into contention; much to the dismay of Swansea supporters who will desperately be hoping the Welshman’s stays on for another push at promotion.
Similarly to the Nuno-Palace situation, Eddie Howe looked to be on his way to Celtic only for talks to collapse last month.
The former Bournemouth boss now finds himself in the mix for the Palace (7/4) and Everton (6/1) jobs, while he’s a 14/1 outsider for Spurs.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche can be backed at 8/1 to switch clubs after nearly nine years at the helm of the Clarets, where as the out-of-work Frank Lampard and Barnsley’s Valerien Ismael (a former Palace player) are both available at 12/1.
Further afield, you can find Chris Wilder (14/1), who is no longer set to be appointed at West Brom, while there are a whole host of names out at 25/1, including Freddie Ljungberg, Rafa Benitez, Paulo Fonseca, Scott Parker, and Thomas Frank.
