Eddie Howe
Eddie Howe
Eddie Howe managed Newcastle United from November 2021 until his exit on July 31st 2026, a spell that transformed the club's fortunes and will loom large over the next Newcastle manager odds as the Magpies weigh up his successor.
Howe inherited a side in the relegation zone and inspired a remarkable second-half turnaround, steering Newcastle to an 11th-place finish in his first season. He went on to guide the club into the Champions League and, in 2025, ended a 70-year wait for domestic silverware by winning the Carabao Cup.
Before St James' Park, Howe enjoyed two spells in charge of Bournemouth, leading the Cherries from the brink of relegation out of the Football League and up into the Premier League, where he spent five seasons at the helm. Sandwiched between those two stints was a less successful spell at Burnley.
