Nottingham Forest vs West Ham Tips
Some fans could be seen leaving the London Stadium when West Ham were 4-0 down to Arsenal at half-time on Sunday and there is a frustrated feel around the club at the moment.
That was West Ham's seventh successive match without a win and it was a toothless performance as they directed just one shot on target against the red-hot Gunners, who managed 25 shots, 12 of which were on target.
As part of their recent streak, Moyes's side have failed to beat Bristol City home and away in the FA Cup, while they have also lost matches 5-0, 5-1 and 3-0 since the beginning of December.
Moyes may make changes, especially in defence, for this match but the mood in the West Ham camp is rotten and Nottingham Forest could capitalise.
The Tricky Trees have not won a match in 90 minutes in 2024 but they dumped Bristol City out of the FA Cup and have made life tough for the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle recently.
The City Ground has not been as much of a fortress as it was last season but Forest have nonetheless picked up three of their five league wins on their own patch and should have the backing of the fans in this winnable fixture.
It is also worth noting that Forest held their own in the reverse fixture at the London Stadium in November, having held West Ham to a 2-2 draw until Tomas Soucek snatched three points with a goal in the 88th minute.
With home advantage behind them this time around and West Ham declining, the hosts can prevail.
When looking at the goalscoring markets, one home forward stands out.
Even though Wood is sidelined for the Tricky Trees, in Taiwo Awoniyi they have a capable deputy.
Awoniyi has struck five goals in all competitions this season and, having spearheaded the attack last time out, he is worth selecting to score at the City Ground.
