Next Wolves Manager Odds Update: Latest on Pedro Martins, Andre Villas Boas and Bo Svensson

The search for the next Wolves manager has taken a big setback after Julen Lopetegui turned down the job after leaving his post at Sevilla, according to Guillem Balague.
The Europa League winner, who was sacked by the Spanish side last week, had emerged as Wolves’ No.1 choice to replace Bruno Lage. However, the timing wasn’t right for a move to the Premier League due to family reasons.
So, who could Wolves (18th) turn to next as they bid to revitalize their season following a wretched start, consisting of one win - and just three goals scored - from their nine games to date.
For now, it looks like Steve Davis will remain in temporary charge for the club’s next game at home to fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest.
Below we take a look at the latest in the betting market…
Pedro Martins has returned to the top of the market at a best-priced 5/2 with BetVictor. Linked since the exit of Lage just over a week ago, the former Olympiacos boss has also attracted interest from Championship outfit Hull, although it's been reported that he couldn’t come to an agreement with the Tigers following negotiations - he does, however, remain the favourite in the next Hull manager odds.
In his last job, the Portuguese coach led Olympiakos to three straight league titles, including a league and cup double. Prior to that, he reached the Taça de Portugal final with Vitória de Guimarães.
Next in the running is young Portuguese managerial star Ruben Amorim (4/1), who has won four trophies in the last few years, which includes firing Sporting CP to the league and cup double in 2020/21.
Linked with PSG in the summer, Amorim recently masterminded a victory over Antonio Conte in the Champions League, with his side topping Group D at the halfway stage. In truth, Wolves may find it difficult to lure him over to the Premier League at this particular time.
A familiar name in Andre Villas Boas, the former Tottenham and Chelsea manager, can be backed at 10/1. The 44-year-old has also had spells at Porto, Zenit, Shanghai SIPG, and most recently Marseille, with whom he led to 2nd and into the Champions League.
Others that are listed include highly-rated Mainz manager Bo Svensson (10/1), ex-Watford boss Javi Gracia (12/1), Estoril’s Nelson Verissimo (12/1), and Celtic’s Ange Postecoglou (14/1), while former RB Leipzig boss Domenico Tedesco is out-of-work and could attract some interest at 20/1.
Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez and former Wolves boss Nuno Santo are 33/1 outsiders.
