Newcastle vs. Chelsea Betting Tips: Havertz a generous price in the shots on target market

Saturday evening live on Sky Sports Main Event, Chelsea take the trip north where they face an in-form Newcastle side. We've two tips from our man Dean Woodward
Newcastle made it six wins from seven in the Premier League last weekend when they dispatched of Southampton in a convincing 4-1 victory. With Spurs dropping points, Newcastle climbed into third place, boasting the joint lowest goals conceded in the Premier League this season (11 goals joint with Arsenal).
Joelinton could make a return to the side after missing the Southampton game through injury. Allan Saint-Maximin also made a return last week from the bench and may be fit enough to start which would be another huge boost for Eddie Howe. Callum Wilson is set to start again after being rewarded with a World Cup place after an impressive start to the season for the Magpies.

- Back England at an enhanced 10/1 to win the World Cup
Back to back defeats for Chelsea in the Premier League for the first time this season with a defeat midweek in the cup also isn’t ideal when travelling to an inform side playing as well as Newcastle. Slipping down to seventh in the table, Graham Potter will be looking to bounce back in their last game before the World Cup.
Jorginho could be another to the long list of injuries as he has picked up a foot injury and is now a doubt for the trip to Newcastle on Saturday. Reece James, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana and N’golo Kante all remain sidelined, with the World Cup coming at the right time for Graham Potter's Chelsea side.
Newcastle vs Chelsea Tips
The German forward has been in and out of the team lately, but has started six of the last seven Premier League matches and was rested against Manchester City in the cup midweek, set for a start this weekend.
Havertz isn’t the most prolific goalscorer in the Chelsea side, but has registered 2.11 shots per 90 in the Premier League this season, finding the target eleven times in his twelve Premier League appearances. He has managed a shot on target in all of his last seven appearances (excluding an eleven minute cameo vs Ac Milan), registering a total of eleven on target in those seven games (in all competitions). Priced just shy of evens to find the target again in a must win for Graham Potters side looks good value.
Given the fact Havertz has had a shot on target in all of his last seven matches, the 7/2 about him hitting the target twice on Saturday also looks good value.
Across those last seven games registering eleven shots on target, he has cleared the over 1.5 shots on target on three occasions, hitting two against Brighton and Wolves, and hitting three against RB Salzburg. With the World Cup on the horizon, he will be looking to impress one last time before the break, hoping to cement a place in the starting XI of the German national side.
