Mason Mount Next Club Odds: Man Utd remain favourites to sign Chelsea midfielder

Mason Mount’s future at Chelsea has been blown up in the air as numerous Premier League clubs are said to be interested in the youngster and he’s looking for a route out of Chelsea. To say the Blues have been underwhelming is an understatement and a 12th-place Premier League finish is likely.
Mason Mount was one of their key stars in their recent Champions League winning campaign and to see him missing out on European football would be a shame. Plenty of clubs in the competition seem to be interested in him and we’ve taken a look at the betting market to see what the betting sites are suggesting of his next move.
Man Utd
Manchester United are currently leading the race to sign the midfielder if the reports are to be believed. They have apparently settled on a fee of around £55m for Mason Mount which has made the bookmakers cut him into a very short price to sign for United. Most betting sites are around 17/20 for him to playing at Old Trafford next season but he was previously as short as 1/20 with some of those bookmakers.
According to Fabrizio Romano United have had a bid rejected for Mount already and are quite a bit off Chelsea's asking price. United are expected to submit a new offer for Mount and with the betting sites going under even money for him to sign for United, they're expecting United and Chelsea to eventually agree on a price.
Ten Hag hasn’t put a foot wrong with his signings so far and if he’s interested in Mason Mount I’m sure he’d be backed. There is a question about new owners coming into Old Trafford and if someone like Jim Ratcliffe arrives, it would be wise for him to back their manager and get the players he needs, it’s also a massive statement to sign a player like Mount from one of your rivals.
Bayern Munich
Ex-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is currently in charge of Bayern Munich and he's a massive fan of Mason Mount, after all, he won a Champions League with him. There's no major reputable sources saying Bayern are in for Mason Mount but they've seen their odds slashed from 33/1 to 13/2 to sign the midfielder.
Fabrizio Romano has stated that Mount's desire to leave has not changed and has no plans of signing a new deal with Chelsea. Some reports in the papers are saying that Bayern are ready to hijack this deal if United talks hit a stand still but other sources like BILD are saying Mount has not been discussed at Bayern. This one is probably best to stay clear of.
Liverpool
Liverpool were previously the front runners in the market for Mason Mount and were as short as 1/2 to sign him a month or so back. Liverpool are desperate for midfielders and a player like Mason Mount would certainly add some needed creativity to the Liverpool lineup.
For Liverpool fans they have unfortunately missed out on Champions League football with Man Utd and Newcastle both locking in the two remaining positions. This could potentially deter mount from a move to Anfield but they still do have Europa League to play in which is an upgrade from Chelsea who will be without any form of European football next season.
Liverpool seem to have recently lost interest and are now as big as 20/1 to sign Mason Mount but considering how short they were at one point to sign him, they're worth a mention in the market.
Stay at Chelsea / Others
You can often get some decent value in players to stay market and this time could be no different. You can currently get 5/4 for Mount to stay at Chelsea and with no concrete statements being made yet, it could prove to be a decent bet.
Chelsea are reportedly seeking £85m for Mount which is £30m off Man Utd’s valuation which could ultimately lead him to staying at the club. Mount is Chelsea through and through and I’m sure he wouldn’t mind staying at the club as part of their rebuild, but if they aren’t matching his ambitions then it would be wise to move on.
