Man Utd vs Luton Prediction and Betting Tips: Bruno Fernandes to carry on impressive form

Another disappointing result for Manchester United means they’ve now lost three of their last five games in all competitions and they desperately need to bounce back with a win over Luton this weekend.
We’ve looked at the betting market for their game on Saturday and picked out our two best bets for the action.

Man Utd are coming fresh off a dramatic 4-3 loss to Copenhagen in the Champions League, a result that only adds to the pressure on Erik ten Hag and his United boys.
They've now lost three of their last four games and will have to win here to avoid any more unwanted pressure ahead of the international break.
Luton are doing no better themselves with only one win in their last 10 games, although they were unfortunate to not beat Liverpool last time out.
United come in as massive favourites for this one and any result other than a win would be a huge blow for ten Hag.
United are missing key plaers such as Casemiro, Martinez, Shaw and Malacia, with Luton missing the likes of Lokonga, Berry, Burke, Potts and Andersen.
Man Utd vs Luton Tips
Despite a lack of general success from the Manchester United side this season, Bruno Fernandes has stood out as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. The Portuguese international has four goals and three assists to his name this season and you can really see the effort he’s putting in to make this United side click again.
With various forwards such as Antony and Rashford failing to score many goals, recently Fernandes has taken it upon himself to be more active in the midfield and test the goalkeeper more. Bruno is averaging 1.4 shots on target per game in the Premier League so far this season and has recorded 2+ shots on target in his last two games.
Given that United’s forwards other than Hojlund really aren’t offering much, I’m expecting Bruno to be once again the man they look to for goals. Fernandes is on free-kicks and penalties, making the 6/4 a great price to have 2+ shots on target against Luton.
Manchester United are big favourites for this one and if they weren’t in such a terrible situation at the moment, you’d probably see them shorter than their current price of 1/3. I think seeing them at this price despite their lack of solid form really shows how one-sided this could get if they finally click.
The bookmakers are expecting Man Utd to score a fair few goals here and with players like Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund being under even money to score a goal, I think it’s best to look at the assist market to squeeze a bit of value out of the game.
Antony looks a big price to assist a goal at 7/2 given how much possession United are expected to have. Whether it’s crossing a ball in to Hojlund or pulling it back for Fernandes on the edge of the box, I have a feeling he’s going to have a lot of chances in this game with how poor Luton have been.
This same bet is 9/4 with other bookies so we’ll be taking the 7/2 on offer at Bet365.
