Liverpool vs Manchester United Bet Builder Tips
Let's start with Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese playmaker is having a strong season with Manchester United, particularly since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Only three players in the league were shown more yellow cards in the Premier League last season than Bruno Fernandes who we are backing to find his way into Andy Madley’s notebook on Sunday.
A large proportion of the reasoning behind this one, besides being one of the most petulant players in the division, is that Fernandes has been shown a yellow card in his last three appearances against Liverpool. With five yellows in the league this campaign as well as a further four in cup competitions, Bruno is our prime suspect for a booking on Sunday.
Next up we are having a bit of Marcus Rashford to score anytime. Since the World Cup Rashford’s form has been nothing short of spectacular and he was once again on the scoresheet in the League Cup final last weekend, although that it was a dubious call with a potential own-goal involved.
That strike now takes Rashford to 17 goals in 20 appearances since the return to domestic action after the trip to Qatar, and looking at his record against Liverpool it is interesting to see that he has scored six times against them, including in three of his last six in the league. Leicester are the only other opponent that Rashford has scored more goals against in his career and we are happy to include him here in this Bet Builder.
The final selection on Sunday is for Liverpool’s Mo Salah to register Over 1.5 shots on target at Anfield. Salah may have been nowhere near the heights he has hit over the last few years in this campaign, but looking at his shooting stats over the last couple of months, it's not for the lack of trying.
In six of his last nine home Premier League matches the Egyptian has recorded two or more shots on target. Salah averages 1.5 shots on target per game in home matches this season and after having scored in his last two in front of his own fans, we fancy him to let off a good few attempts against United.
