Leeds vs. Barnsley Betting Tips: Back Jesse's boys to March on to the 3rd round

Leeds vs. Barnsley Odds
There are four more League Cup 2nd round fixtures on Wednesday night and here we have previewed the big Yorkshire Derby between Premier League Leeds United and League One Barnsley. We've picked out two bets we like the look of for your attention.
Leeds vs. Barnsley Tips
There were many onlookers (including myself) who were seriously worried for Leeds United and Jesse Marsch's fortunes this season, having sold their best two players in Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips and brought in a number of players who hadn't played at this level before. However, the Elland Road men have dispelled any early doubts and started the season unbeaten, including a stunning 3-0 win against Chelsea last time out. Now Marsch has the opportunity to rotate his squad and give some of the players who haven't had game time thus far a chance to shine in a Carabou Cup tie against local neighbours Barnsley.
New Tykes manager Michael Duff has had a mixed start to his life at Oakwell, picking up a couple of wins alongside three losses. Duff could make a huge step towards winning over the Tarn faithful with a massive giant killing in Beeston.
Likely Leeds XI: Kristoffer Klaesson; Cody Drameh, Robin Koch, Leo Hjelde, Pascal Struijk; Sam Greenwood, Adam Forshaw; Crysencio Summerville, Mateusz Klich, Luis Sinisterra; Joe Gelhardt
Likely Barnsley XI: Collins; Andersen, McCarthy, Kitching; Williams, Wolfe, Hondermarck, Benson, Odour; Cole, Norwood
As mentioned earlier, Leeds will be making wholesale changes with only Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk keeping their places due to necessity caused by injuries. One man who should benefit from these rotations is summer signing Luis Sinisterra, who has played just 26 minutes from the substitutes bench after picking up a pre season hamstring injury. The 23-year-old Colombian joined in July from Feyenoord for a fee of around £21m, having scored 20 goals from the wing for the club in just 76 appearances.
Sinisterra is a box of tricks and will cause the Barnsley defence big trouble, should he start on Wednesday night. The 7/4 on offer at bet365 is the market leader and looks on the large side.
Another man who will benefit from Marsch's squad rotation is centre forward Joe Gelhardt. The 20-year-old Liverpudlian has had limited game time so far this season with just 13 minutes from the bench but is set to replace Premier League top scorer Rodrigo here. Gelhardt is a bundle of energy and isn't afraid to put his body on the line to win the ball. He has scored consistently at reserve and England youth international level and clearly has pedigree. He is another one who I am expecting to shine here at Elland Road and I have doubled him up with Sinisterra to score anytime. the two combined pays 7/1
