Italy vs. England Betting Tips: Kane to find the net for 12/1 Bet Builder in Naples

Punters have Euro 2024 qualifiers to get stuck into over the next week with England taking on Italy in Naples. We’ve put together a Bet Builder for the occasion with BoyleSports that can be backed at 12/1 which you can read more about below.
There is plenty of history between these two sides with Italy starting the defence of their European crown after beating England in the heart-breaking final back in 2021. Roberto Mancini’s side failed to make the World Cup for the second consecutive renewal in 2022 and is currently priced at 9/1 with several betting sites to retain their title.
After a quarter-final exit in Qatar, The Three Lions saw another chance to earn that major piece of silverware disappear. Harry Kane’s penalty will long live in the memory but Southgate’s side must regroup for this campaign after also being relegated to UEFA Nations League B in 2022.

Italy vs England Bet Builder Tips
Despite his woeful penalty at the World Cup, Harry Kane has carried on scoring at a phenomenal rate for both club and country in recent years. The now 29-year-old has 53 goals in just 80 appearances for his national side and by scoring just one more he will go clear on his own as England’s all-time top scorer.
If it were not for Erling Haaland’s ridiculousness this season, more would be being spoken about Kane’s record in the top-flight this term, with the Tottenham talisman scoring 21 goals in 28 matches. Kane also just needs one more headed goal to set a new record in the league for headed goals this season, but for our first leg in this Bet Builder on Thursday, we are siding with him to score anytime against the Italians.
Next up we’ve included Giovanni Di Lorenzo to be carded. The left-back who looks set to be a Serie A winner with Napoli this campaign may have only been carded twice this season, but his chances of finding his way into the book against England rise significantly when considering he will be the direct opponent of Jack Grealish.
Over his 21 Premier League appearances in 2022/2023, Grealish has been fouled on average 2.9 times per game, with only Wilfried Zaha posting a higher figure this term (3.0). Di Lorenzo is no stranger to a card having been shown 11 yellows in the 2020/2021 season and was also booked when these two teams last met back in September.
Rounding off the trio of picks is for Under 3.5 goals to be scored in the game. Remarkably under four goals have been scored in all of the last 19 meetings between these two, with Italy being notoriously water-tight at the back in recent decades. In fact, you have to go all the way back to 1976 for the last time Over 3.5 goals landed, which was when the pair met in the U.S. Bicentennial Cup. The tournament featured just four teams; Brazil, England, Italy and The United States, but we’ll be hoping that the 47-year streak doesn’t come to an end on Thursday with hopefully Under 3.5 goals being on the menu.
Combining Kane to score, Di Lorenzo to be carded and Under 3.5 goals, pays 12/1 with BoyleSports or other betting sites.
