Hungary vs Portugal Cheat Sheet

Group F kick's off on Tuesday with Portugal taking on Hungary in Budapest. The hosts will have their work cut out against a really strong Portugal outfit who will be determined to retain their crown as kings of Europe this summer.
Unsurprisingly it is the visitors who are heavy favourites for this one, and with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva all present in their starting XI they certainly won't be lacking any threat at the top end of the pitch.
Man City's Joao Cancelo has had to withdraw from the Portugal squad for the tournament after testing positive for Covid-19, and will be replaced by Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot, who impressed on loan at AC Milan last season.

Standout Stats
All eyes will once again be on Cristiano Ronaldo this tournament, as the veteran Portugal skipper gears up for what will most probably be his final European Championship.
It comes as little surprise to see the 36-year-old rank highest for shots per game last season. Ronaldo averaged a whopping 5 shots at goal p.g throughout 2020/21, with 2.1 of those testing the keeper; he will once again be Portugal's key goalscoring threat at Euro 2021.
Bruno Fernandes has long been known as a shots on target merchant, with his impressive average of 1.4 per game during the last campaign seeing him enter the tournament as a huge asset in the shots betting markets. Petulance can often creep into the Manchester United's playmaker's game, however, and he was Portugal's most-booked player throughout 20/21 with 10 yellow cards to his name in all competitions.
Sticking with cards and Hungary's tough-tackling defender Attila Fiola is certainly a player to keep an eye on. The 31-year-old picked up 13 yellows and a red last season, whilst finishing the campaign with an average of 2.2 fouls per game!
