Harvey Barnes Next Club Odds: Aston Villa, West Ham and Newcastle all mentioned

With Leicester’s relegation to the Championship, their players have been subject to a number of transfer rumours. Many of their players are Premier League quality and with us already discussing the future of James Maddison, we’re moving on to Harvey Barnes who has become the target of a few Premier League clubs now.
As always we’ll take a look at what the betting sites suggest of his next move and talk you through the market.
Aston Villa
Aston Villa turned into an incredibly solid side under Unai Emery and now that they’ve got European football booked for next season, they’ll be looking to further bolster their already big squad.
They’ve been linked with a number of players this window already but the most solid looking one at the moment seems to be Harvey Barnes and Villa come in as the betting site's favourite at 11/8.
Aston Villa have both Buendia and Bailey on the wide spots upfront and bringing in Havery Barnes could prove to be some healthy competition for the starting spot in the Villa XI. The deal is rumoured to be around £40m which seems fairly large considering Leicester’s current position, but Barnes has proved time and time again that he is good enough to be playing in the Premier League. This is a signing that makes a lot of sense given the busy season they’re in for.
West Ham
West Ham are another team that will have European football next season after their historic Europa Conference League win recently. Despite a 14th place finish in the Premier League you’d have to say West Ham have had a fantastic season and David Moyes has done a fantastic job to get them a trophy.
What West Ham need though is some more attacking options to help with their goalscoring record. They only managed to score 42 goals in the Premier League this season and considering Harvey Barnes managed 13 on his own for a side that got relegated, West Ham fans would be more than happy to get him straight in that starting XI.
They’re also expected to have a good amount of cash to spend this season with Declan Rice set to leave the club which is rumoured to be netting the Hammers over £100m.
Newcastle
Newcastle are next in the betting market for Harvey Barnes at the 3/1 mark. They were previously linked with him earlier this year but talks seem to have quietened down as the end of the season approached. However, now that the season has ended and Leicester have confirmed relegation, the betting sites are expecting them to reignite their interest in the winger.
Newcastle were the surprise package of the 22/23 season and have managed to secure themselves Champions League football for next season. Similar to the two clubs that have been mentioned, with European football locked in, they’ll need to reinforce their squad for next season.
Newcastle are expected to be busy this window after their impressive season and their new owners finally settling into the Premier League and getting ready to flex their riches. They’re a club with an insane amount of money and don’t be surprised if they snap up Harvey Barnes for £40m if Leicester ask for that much.
