Germany haven't played a competitive fixture since the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with this year's nine fixtures all being friendly matches. Julian Nagelsmann's men will be looking to get back to winning ways on Saturday night after playing out an incredibly competitive 2-2 draw with Mexico in October.
Turkey's 4-0 victory over Latvia last month ensured their place at next year's major tournament, sitting six points clear in 1st place having won five of their seven matches in Group D. Tuesday's final qualifier with Wales is of little importance to Saturday's visitors, but they could have a decisive hand in determining whether The Dragons or Croatia join them in automatic qualification.
Germany vs Turkey Tips
This match should be a competitive one. Turkey had very little issues qualifying for next year's tournament, while Germany are still getting their feet under the table with Nagelsmann in charge. Given how Vincenzo Montella has wrapped up qualification with one game to spare and also has top seeding secured regardless of Tuesday's result, he should choose a strong team to face Germany this weekend.
There've been four goals scored in each of 36-year-old German coach's two games at the helm of the national side, which when you combine this with the fact that only one of Turkey's last 29 matches has failed to see two or more goals and there being plenty of attacking talent on show for both sides, we should expect to see the net ripple at least a couple of times in Berlin, with both Germany and Turkey etching themselves onto the scoresheet.
We believe this match will be so competitive that neither team will manage to separate themselves from one another inside 90 minutes, with us opting for the draw at a best price of 4/1 with BetMGM.
Mexico gave Germany a good game in Philadelphia last month, cancelling out Antonio Rudiger's opener before briefly pegging back their opponents in the second half. That comes after USA took the lead within the opening half-hour against them, and with only two games under his belt, Nagelsmann's side are displaying vulnerabilities as you would expect.
At odds of 2/5 Germany seem too overpriced to win this game, especially with how well Turkey have performed during qualifying, posting some decent victories over Scotland, Croatia and Wales in the last year. As a 4/1 shot we like the price for this match to end all square after an entertaining affair.
