Leicester won the Championship with a tally of 97 points last season and they marked their return to the Premier League with a creditable 1-1 draw at home to Tottenham on Monday.
Despite losing manager Enzo Maresca and player of the season Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea over the summer, the Foxes fought back from 1-0 down to take a point off Spurs thanks to a header from club legend Jamie Vardy.
Fulham lost 1-0 at Manchester United in the opening game of the season, conceding an 87th-minute goal to United debutant Joshua Zirkzee.
The Cottagers should hand a home debut to attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, signed from Arsenal, and they are reportedly closing in on a deal for Crystal Palace centre-back Joachim Andersen.
Leicester boss Steve Cooper will assess the fitness of striker Vardy, who had been an injury doubt for the Tottenham game. Conor Coady, Patson Daka and Luke Thomas remain sidelined for the Foxes.
Fulham did the double over Leicester in 2022/23 - the season the Foxes were relegated from the Premier League - winning 1-0 at the King Power Stadium before a 5-3 victory at Craven Cottage.
Leicester battled back impressively in Monday's draw at home to Tottenham but they face an awkward trip to Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Fulham did well against the weaker teams in the Premier League last season, losing only five of their 22 matches against clubs who finished outside the top eight.
Marco Silva's men had a proud home record for most of the season, recording back-to-back 5-0 wins over Nottingham Forest and West Ham in December and beating title-chasing Arsenal 2-1 on New Year's Eve.
Fulham also defeated Brighton and Tottenham, both by a 3-0 scoreline, later in the campaign and they are a tempting bet to win to nil against the promoted Foxes.
Fulham's attacking unit is shaping up nicely with Rodrigo Muniz aiming to build on his promising displays last season and the classy Emile Smith Rowe hoping for an injury-free campaign.
Andreas Pereira and Alex Iwobi are also talented creative players and Fulham supporters would love to see winger Adama Traore kick on at Craven Cottage.
The former Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Wolves and Barcelona man started the season well in the defeat at Manchester United and is worth chancing to score first against Leicester.
Traore has had a frustrating couple of campaigns, scoring only four Premier League goals for Wolves and Fulham, but he had three shots – the most of any Fulham player – at Old Trafford and can expect more opportunities against the Foxes.
