Many punters would not have predicted France to be beaten by Tunisia in their final group game, but despite that loss Les Blues still finished top of the Group D table. The reigning World Champions have not lost a last-16 game at the World Cup since all the way back in 1934 and will have their sights firmly set on the quarter-finals.
Poland were another side who lost their final group fixture at the World Cup in Qatar, but still progressed to the knockout stages as the runners-up with a slightly better goal difference to that of Mexico in third. Czeslaw Michniewicz’s side have not reached this stage of the tournament since 1986 where they lost out to Brazil.

France To Win To Nil, Mbappe To Score & -1 France Match Handicap

In Poland’s game with Argentina they let off just four shots in the full 90 minutes, amassing just 0.3 xG. Out of all the teams to have played three matches at the tournament only Costa Rica (11), have let off fewer shots than Poland (18) and we think chances will be sparse on Sunday.
Having considered Poland’s performances so far we are also going to be including the France -1 Match handicap, meaning they need to win the game by two goals or more.
