Football BTTS Acca Tips: Saturday's best both teams to score plays

We are now getting towards the business end of the season in the Football League and there’s a full card of fixtures from the Championship, League’s One and Two this weekend. Here at BettingOdds.com we’re continuing our weekly series on providing you with our best both teams to score football tips.
This weekend’s selections all kick-off at three o’clock Saturday, so you can settle down and watch Soccer Saturday, BT Sport Score, or whatever takes your fancy. We’d advise backing with bet365 who currently offer a soccer accumulator bonus of 10% on 4-fold multiples. In our case, this will take our bet from 8/1 to 9/1 should all eight teams find the back of the net.
BTTS: B’burn v Coventry, Crewe v Sunderland, Rochdale v Burton, Carlisle v Oldham
Ewood Park is the first destination on Saturday with Blackburn Rovers taking on Coventry. Pressure is mounting on Tony Mowbray after five consecutive defeats that has seen his side go from play-off hopefuls in 8th, to now sit 15th in the table, equidistant between the relegation zone and sixth place in terms of points.
Centre-back pairing Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Jarrad Branthwaite have been brought in on loan, however Blackburn’s ever changing back-four has looked shaky in recent weeks, conceding three to Watford on Wednesday evening. At the other end of the pitch Rovers still have plenty of goals in them through the creativity of Harvey Elliott and the league’s second highest scorer, Adam Armstrong.
Coventry will believe they can get something here, but they will need to perform much better than they did in the 4-0 home defeat to Blackburn back in October. Their recent 2-0 success over Brentford combined with Rovers defensive frailties gives me belief that both teams will score in Lancashire.
Crewe take on Sunderland at Gresty Road in our second play of the afternoon and the home side have been prolific in the both teams to score over the last few months. 13 of their last 16 matches have seen both teams get on the scoresheet and after their impressive 2-0 win against Accrington Stanley on Tuesday, they will be hopeful of taking at least a point from Sunderland on home soil.
Lee Johnson’s side have won their last three league games and have kept clean sheets in their last two, with the most recent coming in a 2-0 home win over Fleetwood Town on Tuesday. Away from home, Sunderland have conceded two goals in two of their last three matches, against Shrewsbury and MK Dons.
Next up we’re off to Spotlands where Rochdale face Burton, prior to their last two games in which Brian Barry-Murphy has seen his side play out two goalless draws, Rochdale had seen 63 goals in their last 15 league matches. They rank 4th in League One in terms of BTTS this campaign with it landing in 58% of their fixtures.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has masterminded three wins in his last four games in his second spell as Burton Albion manager. The Dutchman has given the Brewers renewed hope of staying in the division, although they still remain bottom of the table, just three points from safety. Burton have the best both teams to score record in League One with both sides bagging in 71% of their outings. Wins against Hull, Northampton and Charlton in the last three weeks give plenty are a strong indicator that they can take the game to relegation rivals Rochdale, and get on the scoresheet at the very least.
The final fixture in this quartet comes from League Two. Oldham make the journey up the M6 to face Carlisle. The Cumbrians find themselves four points off the play-off places but are as short as 8/11 to be promoted this season with them having as many as five games in hand on some of the sides above them. Carlisle have scored in every home game this season in League Two and here they face Oldham who have the worst defence in the division with 53 goals conceded.
So we’ve mentioned Oldham’s defensive record but they actually have the highest both teams to score percentage of any side in England’s top four leagues (72%). BTTS has landed on 21 of their 29 league outings this term and a repeat in the Lake District looks likely this weekend. Best of luck to anyone following the selections on Saturday, remember this currently pays best with bet365.
As always, please gamble responsibly.
