Fantasy Football Tips: Three must have picks for Gameweek 12

Gameweek 11 was the stuff of nightmares with an average of just 32 points, eight above the base of 24 we expect from all 11 players and captain receiving two appearance points.
With improvements needed, here’s the must-have players for FPL Gameweek 12.
Gameweek 11 Review
The predictions actually produced a challenging gameweek, with a clean sheet for John Stones and an assist for Bryan Mbeumo. It was a rare blank from Erling Haaland in Manchester City’s 6-1 defeat of Bournemouth as he was replaced at halftime with a knock.
My team managed just 18 points, with Mbeumo providing the only return. Five of my players were substituted early with knocks, while Tsimikas was dropped and only appeared as a substitute. This has been my worst FPL gameweek in ten seasons playing the game!
Defender: Ben White vs Burnley (H)
Arsenal have kept four clean sheets in seven since David Raya came into the goalkeeper position, with two of those coming in three home games. Arsenal have the best clean sheet potential for this weekend, with White the pick of their defence right now.
White already has two attacking returns for this campaign: one goal and one assist. He has had two big chances on goal and created ten chances for his team-mates. Burnley have scored just four away goals and will be without talisman Lyle Foster through injury.

Midfield: Mohamed Salah vs Brentford (H)
Mohamed Salah is winning the captaincy polls for Gameweek 12 given the knock to Erling Haaland, but his status should be entirely justified irrespective of the other options given his home form this campaign. He has a perfect record of scoring at Anfield, with six goals in five games.
Salah remains on penalties and has already converted from the spot on three occasions this campaign. The Egyptian leads the way with six big chances on goal in the last four gameweeks and has also created nine chances in that time. He scored in this fixture last season.
Forward: Ollie Watkins vs Fulham (H)
A home game for Watkins could kick-start his return to form after two consecutive blanks. He has five goals and five assists in five home games this season and is the top performing forward as far as home comforts are concerned.
Watkins has delivered these returns despite no involvement in set pieces this season. His underlying numbers are equally as compelling, sitting third among forwards for shots in the box with six over the last four gameweeks. Opponents Fulham are without a clean sheet in five
