Europa League Winner Odds
Here we run through the top five contenders in the betting to win this season's trophy, then we pick out a few other notable prices in the market.
Liverpool
Liverpool will feature in the Europa League for the first time since 2015/16 when they finished runners-up to Sevilla. They would go on to spend six successive seasons playing Champions League football, a competition they won in 2018/19.
The Europa League is a competition the Reds have won three times. Their most recent triumph was in 2001 when they overcame Spanish side Alaves 5-4 in a thrilling final.
After finishing 5th in the Premier League last term, Jurgen Klopp's men have been installed as the 7/2 favourites to go on and taste success in Europe once more this season.
Brighton
Brighton qualified for Europe for the first time in the club's 121-year history after they secured an impressive 6th place finish in the Premier League.
The Seagulls dazzled under the tutorship of Roberto De Zerbi, who masterminded wins over the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
The Italian may have since lost the likes of Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister, but Brighton will hope their recent success at recruiting talent will continue into the new season, with Ansu Fati a high-profile addition on deadline day.
Their fans will be treated to some fantastic matches in what looks like an extremely exciting Group B, which features Ajax, Marseille, and AEK Athens.
At the time of writing, Brighton range from 11/1 to a best-priced 16/1 (William Hill) to go all the way.
Roma
Jose Mourinho agonisingly missed out on back-to-back European honours after his Roma side were beaten in the final on penalties by Europa League kings Sevilla.
Mourinho's men are now back in the competition where they are sure to have backers at 14/1.
The Portuguese manager has been reunited with Romelu Lukaku who has joined the club on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The striker will be looking to make an instant impact at the capital club, where he'll hope to form strong connections with the likes of Paulo Dybala, Andrea Belotti, and Stephan El Shaarawy.
Villarreal
Villarreal, the Europa League winners in 2020/21, will return to the competition after spending two seasons in the Champions League (2021/22, semi-finals) and Europa Conference League (2022/23, round-of-16).
Managed by Spaniard Quique Setien, The Yellow Submarine have been placed in Group F where they will do battle with Rennes, Maccabi Haifa, and Panathinaikos.
Spain has a real love affair with the competition, producing a winner in 12 of the last 20 seasons, with Villarreal available at 16/1 this time around.
West Ham
There are then a cluster of teams hovering around the 20/1 mark, including West Ham, who beat Fiorentina in dramatic fashion to secure the Europa Conference League trophy last season, which was their first major trophy in a whopping 43 years.
The victory propelled David Moyes' troops straight into this season's Europa League group stages where they have been placed in Group A alongside Olympiacos, Freiburg, TSC Bracka Topola.
The Hammes may no longer have influential skipper Declan Rice in their ranks, but they look to have recruited shrewdly in James Ward-Prowse, Edson Alvarez, and Mohammed Kudos.
Selected Others
Also priced at 20/1, you'll find Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis, and Atalanta.
Bayer Leverkusen will be eyeing up another Europa League run after reaching the semi-finals last season, where they were edged out by Roma.
Boss Xabi Alonso can look back on a successful debut season. After he was appointed in October 2022, he managed to cannonball the club from second-from-bottom to 6th in the Bundesliga, during which he beat former club Bayern Munich.
The Spaniard will be reasonably content with Bayer's Group H, which contains Qarabag, Molde, and BK Hacken.
Atalanta were absent from European competition last season, but previously reached the Europa League quarter-finals in 2021/22 and the Champions League quarter-finals two seasons before that.
After reaching the last 16 in each of the last two seasons, Real Betis will be hoping to go further on this occasion, while last term's quarter-finalists Sporting Lisbon can be backed at 25/1.
