England Women vs Italy Women Prediction: Betting Tips, Teams News & Odds

England take on Italy at the Stade de Genève on Tuesday night (8pm, live on ITV 1) with a place in the Women’s Euro 2025 final up for grabs.
The Lionesses are odds-on favourites to progress after their dramatic quarter-final comeback against Sweden, where they rallied from behind to keep their Women's European Championship defence alive. Back-to-back Euros finals are now in sight for Sarina Wiegman’s side, and they’re priced around 4/7 to get the job done in 90 minutes.
Italy, meanwhile, are 5/1 outsiders, but come into this clash with momentum after Cristiana Girelli’s stoppage-time winner saw off Norway in a tense last-eight encounter.
The winner of Tuesday's tussle will go on to face either Germany or Spain in the final.

England’s route to the semi-finals has been full of goals and drama. After losing to France in their opener, the Lionesses bounced back with emphatic wins over the Netherlands (4-0) and Wales (6-1).
A dramatic quarter-final against Sweden saw them recover from 2-0 down at the break to score twice in the second-half and go on to eventually win 3-2 on penalties, in a shootout where nine of 14 penalties were missed.
Sarina Wiegman’s side have more than showcased their attacking firepower, scoring 14 goals across their four games so far. However, their defensive vulnerabilities have been ruthlessly exposed, notably in the games against high-calibre opposition in France and Sweden.
While England are the 1/2 favourites to go on and beat Italy in 90 minutes, the value may lie in backing England to win and both teams to score at 7/4 with bet365, given their attacking form and shaky backline.
On top of that, England have won four of the last five clashes between the countries, with this bet landing in three of those, including a 5-1 thrashing in the most recent meeting last year.
Chloe Kelly completely transformed England when she entered the match against Sweden. Within three minutes of coming on England had scored two goals to draw themselves level at 2-2 after she assisted Lucy Bronze and then played a key role in Michelle Agyemang’s equaliser. Kelly would then score in the shoot-out.
A super-sub on that occasion, Kelly will hope that her stunning performance will be rewarded with a sem-final start, with the Arsenal star an appealing price at 7/2 to record another assist.
With bet365's 'Sub On Play On' feature, your bet with live on should Kelly be substituted, with her replacement becoming active for the bet.

Sarina Wiegman named the same starting line-up for the third straight game in the quarter-final win against Sweden but it wouldn't come as a surprise if she was to shake things up on Tuesday.
Centre-backs Leah Williamson and Jess Carter could both be switched out. Captain Williamson rolled her ankle in extra-time, while Carter struggled against the Swedes. Chloe Kelly was exceptional off the bench and will be pushing hard for a start.
There are no new injury concerns for the Italians, who are likely to name an unchanged 11.
