England vs Malta Bet Builder Tips
England to Win to Nil
Malta failed to even let off a shot when the two sides met in the reverse fixture back in June. England came out comfortable 4-0 winners in that game and a similar score could well be on the cards on Friday.
The Maltese have been beaten in all seven of their European Championship qualifiers so far this campaign and have failed to score against England in all five of the competitive matches they have played. Damage limitation will be a priority for Malta and to kick off this Bet Builder we are backing England to win the game to nil.
Harry Kane to Score a hat-trick
It's been a remarkable season so far for Harry Kane who is loving life in Munich. Since the start of the 2023/24 campaign, Kane has bagged 24 goals in 18 starts for club and country and could well be on the verge of breaking numerous Bundesliga records this term.
The former Tottenham talisman has already managed three hat-tricks for his new employers with two of those coming in his last four matches, including away at Borussia Dortmund.
England scored two penalties in the 4-0 win over Malta out in the Mediterranean and with the form that Kane is currently in, it would be no surprise to see him net on numerous occasions at Wembley.
Steve Borg to be carded
The final leg of this 22/1 poke is for Malta’s Steve Borg to be carded. No player for Malta has been shown more cards throughout qualification than Borg, who has collected three in just six appearances. With the pace and trickery of England’s attack it is sure to be a long evening for the away defence and Borg having to take care of Marcus Rashford, one mis-timed tackle could lead to him finding his way into the book.
