England vs. Italy Bet Builder Tips: Maguire to be carded in 40/1 treble

Euro 2020 finalists England and Italy once again take to the field at Wembley on Tuesday evening as both sides look to secure their place at the 2024 European Championships. We’ve put together our favourite fancies for the evening into a Bet Builder which can be backed at 40/1 with BoyleSports.
England vs Italy Bet Builder Tips
We are kicking-off this three pronged approach with Italy’s Giovanni Di Lorenzo to pick up a card from referee Clement Turpin. The Napoli skipper should slot back into the starting XI at the expense of Matteo Darmian and has been shown more cards than any other Italian player during this latest qualification campaign.
It is also interesting to see that Di Lorenzo has actually been shown a yellow card in his last two matches against England. The first of those came in the UEFA Nations League in September 2022 and the 30-year-old followed that up with another against The Three Lions when Gareth Southgate’s side travelled to Naples in March 2023. Marcus Rashford proved problematic for Di Lorenzo in both of those matches and should once again be his direct opponent on Tuesday.
We are also hoping that Harry Maguire can find his way into the book at Wembley. It has been a turbulent year or two for the Manchester United and England centre-back and despite a lack of club football, Gareth Southgate continues to trust him at the heart of defence.
Maguire was shown a yellow card in that famous defeat at the Euro 2020 final and just like Lorenzo, he has been booked twice in this latest qualifying campaign. He has seen yellow in three of his last six international appearances and will be feeling the pressure after his own goal against Scotland on his most recent run-out.
Rounding off our 40/1 Bet Builder is Jude Bellingham to score. We are running out of superlatives for the former Borussia Dortmund man since his switch to Real Madrid. It is in front of goal where possibly the most improvement has been made by Bellingham with the youngster already closing in on his goal tally from the previous campaign.
Across all competitions for club and country this term Bellingham has 11 goals in just 12 matches. Combining him to find the net against Italy, along with both Di Lorenzo and Maguire to pick up a card pays 40/1 with BoyleSports.
