Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals: Week 3 Predictions, Tips and Odds 9/24/23

The vibes are good for an Arizona Cardinals team that may be 0-2 but has looked downright competitive to open the season.
That’s not likely to stick when the Dallas Cowboys get done with them.
Dallas has looked like the best team in the NFL through two weeks and has the talent to whip the Cardinals on Sunday. Despite playing on the road, the Cowboys are heavy favourites to cruise to the victory.
The Cardinals have nearly beaten both the Commanders and Giants in their first two games, and the offence rebounded in a big way last time out against New York.
However, Arizona has not faced a team nearly as talented as Dallas, and it could be a long afternoon for quarterback Joshua Dobbs.
The Cowboys are superior across the board and should make quick work of the Cardinals, who will remain on pace to finish as a top contender for the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2024.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals Betting Prediction
The Cardinals have been startlingly competent this season, but some leaks started to appear in the second half of Week 2, when they blew a 21-point third-quarter lead in a 31-28 loss to the Giants.
The defence was gashed, and it’s going to have an even harder time against Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and a dominant offensive line. The pickings will be easy for the Dallas offence, and the matchup is even more lopsided on the other side of the ball.
The Arizona offensive line has done a nice job through two games but now must face Micah Parsons and the rest of a super-disruptive pass rush.
If the Cowboys get ahead, as expected, those guys are going to absolutely tee off on Joshua Dobbs. The Cardinals’ best bet is to run the ball efficiently against the Cowboys, but Dallas will be able to stack the box and rely on star cornerbacks Trevon Diggs and Stephon Gilmore to keep things quiet on the outside.
This game is going to be ugly. The Cowboys always travel well and the roar of the crowd is going to harken us back to the old Sun Devil Stadium days in Arizona, when Dallas had a de facto ninth home game every year.
Prediction: Cowboys 27, Cardinals 10
Prop Bet Prediction: Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Over/Under 230.5 Passing Yards
The season-opening win over the Giants was so lopsided that Prescott only completed 13 passes for 143 yards on 24 attempts, and there is the risk of another blowout here.
But the Cowboys picked up both a special teams and defensive touchdown early in that game, while this one could take a bit longer to become a rout.
When it comes to the matchup, there is no contest. The Cowboys’ offensive line should dominate against a suspect Arizona front, while CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks could feast on the Cardinal's cornerbacks.
Prescott is an accurate passer who should be able to rack up the yardage with ease. As long as the Cowboys don’t pull too far ahead by the third quarter, Prescott should reach 231 passing yards.
Prediction: Dak Prescott over 230.5 passing yards
