Czech Republic v England Cheat Sheet

England take on the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening as they look to try and finish top of Group D. Heading into the game at Wembley, both England and the Czech Republic both find themselves on four points after a win and a draw. While Scotland and Croatia both have just 1 point and will face off at Hampden Park kicking off at the same time as England 5pm.
England we’re left a little disappointed after a 0-0 draw with Scotland on Friday evening in a game which saw the Three Lions record just one solitary shot on target. Gareth Southgate may well decide to make some changes to the side with fans itching for Jack Grealish to start the game.
Grealish may well come in for Phil Foden who is just one yellow card away from a ban. Harry Kane will keep his place at the head of proceedings for England with a back-three being a potential option for Southgate if he decides to switch formation. Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire will both be considered for starts after coming into the tournament with injuries.

Stand Out Stats
With the strong possibility of Jack Grealish starting the game against the Czech Republic we like the look of the Aston Villa playmaker to record an assist. During last season’s Premier League campaign the 25-year-old made 10 assists in just 24 starts and if it were not for injury there’s a good chance he would have finished top of the rankings ahead of Harry Kane for that metric.
3/1 is currently on offer from Betfair and Paddy Power for Grealish to make an assist in the match, while bet365 go slightly shorter at 5/2. Both of these firms allow you to add this selection into your bet builders. For those wanting to get behind Grealish in the shots markets, he’s 4/7 to register one shot on target with betfair and 1/3 to register 2+ shots.
Looking at potential players to be carded in England v Czech Republic and Tomas Soucek of West Ham makes plenty of appeal. The defensive midfielder will be helping to cover Jack Grealish and at 5/1 with bet365 he does look quite a big price, with other firms such as Unibet taking a more conservative view, offering just 2/1.
Grealish was the most fouled player in the Premier League this season and Tomas Soucek committed by far the most fouls of any player at West Ham. Referee Artur Dias will take charge of the game who gave out a healthy 4.63 yellow cards on average last season when officiating in Portugal.
Harry Maguire should also come back into the starting XI for England and he could also be a player to keep an eye on in the shots markets. In the Premier League last season, Trent Alexander-Arnold was the only defender to register more shots than Harry Maguire last season with the Manchester United captain shooting 36 times in 34 games. At 11/4 with Paddy Power Maguire deserves some consideration to hit a shot on target against the Czechs.
Enjoy the game which can be seen live on ITV kicking off at 8pm. As always, please gamble responsibly.
