Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham Bet Builder Tips: Son to star in our 60/1 punt
Tottenham fans are living on cloud nine at the moment with their team sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League. They have all the momentum coming into their game against Crystal Palace and we’ve picked out a bet builder for the action.
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Bet Builder Tips
Tottenham have scored three goals from outside the box in the Premier League this season which is tied with Arsenal, Brentford and West Ham and only beaten by Aston Villa and Brighton. Considering they’re one of the better teams when it comes to taking their chances from outside the area I really do fancy them to attempt at least a few against Crystal Palace.
One of their more prolific players from this distance is none other than Son Heung-min. The South-Korean international has attempted eight shots in nine games from outside the area this season for Tottenham and considering we fancy Spurs to have the vast majority of possession in this tie, he could very well see a chance to strike from distance.
This ties into the next leg in our Bet Builder, which is Son to have two shots on target. He has registered 13 shots on target in nine Premier League games so far, averaging out at 1.6 shots on target per game.
Like we said we fancy Spurs to have most of the chances and the ball in this game, which should result in their main man at least attempting a few efforts on goal. Son has seven goals in nine Premier League games so far and with a man clearly in-form, his confidence should be at an all-time high.
Moving away from Son we’re focusing on the player to be carded market and we’ve sided with Jordan Ayew to be carded. The forward is Palace’s second-most booked player this season. Ayew is also averaging 1.7 fouls per game which is quite surprising for a striker. With his side being underdogs against Tottenham, he might have to be defending more than he’d like to be. Strikers aren’t quite known for their defensive capabilities and if he has to track back and defend against the likes of Maddison, Son and Kulusevski, he could end up putting in a dangerous tackle resulting in a yellow card.
If we add all these selections we’re left with a 60/1 Bet Builder with Bet365. For those following along, best of luck as always and please make sure to gamble responsibly.
