The Blues were made to work hard by Leicester in the FA Cup before eventually running out 4-2 victors while the Clarets made the most of an early Brentford red card to land a much-needed 2-1 Premier League win.
The hosts will be feeling confident due to Burnley’s position deep in the relegation zone, but they will need to be at their best to defeat a visiting side that are fighting for their top-tier lives.
Team news
Romeo Lavia has been ruled out for the season and will miss out alongside fellow long-term absentees Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu and Reece James.
Carney Chukwuemeka, Levi Colwill, Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto need further assessment but some or even all of that quartet could at least make the bench.
Burnley will have to do without their in-form striker David Datro Fofana who is on loan from Chelsea, so the Ivorian misses out alongside Aaron Ramsey, Luca Koleosho and Nathan Redmond.
Centre-backs Jordan Beyer and Ameen Al-Dakhil are doubts but could return.

Chelsea vs Burnley Tips
Mauricio Pochettino has eased the pressure on his status as Chelsea manager by winning three of his four games since the disappointing League Cup final defeat to Liverpool, reaching the FA Cup semi-finals in the process.
However, while the results are beginning to appear, the Blues are still flattering to deceive and they have conceded twice to each of Brentford and Newcastle as well as Championship sides Leicester and Leeds in that run.
Their defence is far from rock solid and, with plenty of absentees and injury doubts in that department, they look set to be breached again this weekend.
Burnley have shown signs of improvement lately, scoring four goals in their last two games, and they have already netted on visits to Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool this term.
They will miss Fofana in attack but Vincent Kompany’s side should still have enough firepower to net against the leaky Blues, just as they did when losing 4-1 at Turf Moor earlier in the campaign.
In that reverse fixture, Armando Broja led the line for Chelsea, albeit to no real effect.
The Albanian was replaced by Nicolas Jackson at half-time, who scored the Blues' fourth in the 74th minute, and he looks likely to hurt the Clarets again.
Following a disappointing Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal he has bounced back recently, scoring three goals in his last four appearances for Chelsea and he looks a solid bet to net against Burnley for the second time this season.
