Our Bet Builder on Friday consists of four players each to give away one or more fouls in the match with the first of those being Enzo Fernandez. The World Cup winner missed a penalty against West Ham last week and has now started every league match for Chelsea since arriving at Stamford Bridge in January.
When it comes to fouls, Fernandez is averaging 0.8 per game in home matches since and we think the 4/6 that is on show for him to give away 1+ on Friday is a shade too big.
Next up it’s Marvelous Nakamba. The former Aston Villa midfielder is very much the cornerstone of our 4-fold here and it’s easy to see why with him having given away at least one foul in 13 of his last 14 matches for The Hatters! Nakamba has also committed 2+ in four of those four matches for anyone thinking of potentially taking the higher lines on Friday.
The other Luton midfielder we are targeting is Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu. Against Brighton in Gameweek 1, Mpanzu gave away three fouls and we think it could be a similar story against Maurcio Pochettino’s men. Looking back at his data from the back end of last season, the 30-year-old from the Democratic Republic of Congo gave away seven fouls in his last nine starts.
Rounding off the quartet of selections for Friday Night Football is Ben Chilwell. A player who is sure to be a key figure for Chelsea this season at both ends of the pitch, Chilwell has given away a foul in each of his league matches so far this term, against Liverpool and West Ham.
