BTTS Tips: 9/1 four-fold for Saturday's UK football

BTTS Acca Odds
English Football is back on the menu this weekend, as is our Both Teams To Score acca. The latest edition focuses entirely on the EFL, featuring three Championship matches and a League One clash.
All matches take place on the Saturday (17th September), with the four-fold paying a spec of dust below 9/1 with bet365.
Burnley vs Bristol City: Championship, 3pm
We’ll start off with this tasty clash between Burnley and Bristol City at Turf Moor. Positioned in 5th place, it’s fair to say the relegated Clarets have enjoyed a decent start under Vincent Kompany, whose new style of football has heightened things somewhat in the entertainment and goals categories. The club’s nine games have contained 24 goals, with BTTS landing six times, including five of their last six games.
Nigel Pearson’s Bristol City also find themselves on 14 points after nine games. No Championship club has found the back of the net more times than the Robins (18 goals), who have also conceded the third-most (14 goals): their last two games combined - both away - have been jam-packed with 10 goals. It’s no surprise then to see that BTTS has occurred in all of their seven league and cup games on the road, making it impossible not to back that outcome once again at 8/11 with bet365.
Norwich vs West Brom: Championship, 3pm
We now venture off to the East where a rejuvenated Norwich lock horns with West Brom at Carrow Road. Dean Smith looked to be under the cosh after he opened the season with one point from three games, but has responded in style with six successive wins to propel the Canaries up to 2nd. They’ve scored six goals in their last two games - both at home - beating the aforementioned Bristol City 3-2 in a mid-week thriller.
As for West Brom, their boss Steve Bruce is feeling the heat down in 20th with just one win on the board this season. Wins may have been rare but goals haven’t with BTTS landing in eight of their nine games, including the last five straight. The Baggies have scored in all four of their away outings and while a victory may be difficult to come by this weekend, we do expect them to at least find the back of the net. After all, they’ve only scored one less goal (14) than high-flying Norwich (15).
Middlesbrough vs Rotherham: Championship, 7.45pm
Staying in the Championship, we now return North for Saturday’s televised 7.45pm kick-off at the Riverside between Middlesbrough and Rotherham - click here for the full Match Preview.
Dangling in 21st heading into the weekend, Middlesbrough are in desperate need of a pick me up. They hit a nadir during the week when, heads bowed, they trudged down the tunnel at half-time with the scoreboard showing 0-3 in favour of Cardiff. They did at least respond with two second-half goals of their own which wasn’t enough for the points but highlights their potential in the BTTS market, which has pinged in seven of their nine games to date.
Boro face a difficult task against surprise 22/23 outfit Rotherham, up in 9th with a game to spare. They’ve lost just once all season and will head to the Riverside brimming with confidence after a mid-week tonking of Reading. BTTS hasn’t been a staple of their diet this season but with the Millers in such fine form - and Boro needing the points - we expect there to be a few goals in this one.
Fleetwood v Charlton: League One, 3pm
Our final BTTS pitstop takes place in League One where Fleetwood take on Charlton. The teams rank 1st (Charlton) and 2nd (Fleetwood) in the third tier’s BTTS rankings this season, landing in six and five games respectively.
Charlton’s last five league games have seen BTTS, as have three of their four away outings to date. Fleetwood are a bit of a funny one, failing to set the goalscoring charts alive while they have a decent defensive record. Yet only Charlton have overseen more BTTS successes in League One than The Cod Army, who are unbeaten in seven games and will be targeting consecutive league wins for the first time this season.
