BTTS Tips: 5/1 Saturday 3pm treble from top three English tiers

We're a couple of weeks into 2022 and there's been no shortage of footballing action. Domestic leagues, FA Cup, Carabao Cup semi-finals and the start of the Africa Cup of Nations have dominated our screens and there is plenty more where that came from.
This weekend sees a return to the Premier League and EFL competitions and those are where our attention will be for Saturday's BTTS accumulator.
The three selections combined into a treble pays best at 5/1 with Bet365.
Newcastle vs Watford
First up is a Premier League clash between two sides at the wrong end of the table. Newcastle host Watford in a must-win game for both, with only two points separating the pair in 19th and 17th place respectively.
Since Eddie Howe was appointed at St. James' Park, his side have kept just one clean sheet from nine attempts, shipping 19 goals in the process. They themselves have netted only seven during this period which are rather worrying stats for those of a Toon persuasion. Couple that with last Saturday's embarrassing FA Cup exit to League One Cambridge United and the Magpies will surely come out firing this time around.
For the visitors, things under Claudio Ranieri's watch haven't been much better. The Hornets haven't managed to keep a single clean sheet - their last successful attempt at doing so came all the way back in August in the EFL Cup with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace. They have, however, had some high-scoring wins under his tenure, including a 5-2 away win at Everton and the 4-1 thrashing over Man Utd.
As a bit of added justification for this pick, the previous meeting between these two ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Millwall vs Notts Forest
Next up is a selection from the Championship. Nottingham Forest will still be riding high off the back of a famous FA Cup victory over Arsenal last Sunday, while Millwall are likely to be reeling from their squandered 1-0 lead over rivals Crystal Palace.
BTTS has been kind to this particular fixture lately, with the three most recent meetings all seeing the bet land. This stretches to four times in the last five and five of the last seven which make it quite the attractive proposition for both teams scoring.
Assessing both teams' Championship form in this department for the 2021/22 campaign shows a clear pattern.Only three of Millwall's home matches have failed to see both teams score in them, while Notts Forest's away matches have a BTTS success rate of 58.3%.
AFC Wimbledon vs Morecambe
Our third and final game comes from the English third tier where AFC Wimbledon welcome Morecambe to Plough Lane. This is another potential relegation six-pointer; Wimbledon in 20th and Morecambe in 21st - with both marginally hovering above the drop zone.
These two provide quite the BTTS appeal, especially under the circumstances of this Saturday's game. With The Dons at home, both teams have only failed to score on two of nine occasions. Extending this to Morecambe's away record, 72.7% of games on their travels have seen the bet land.
For two sides down at the bottom of their league, they have scored a decent number of goals when compared to those around them - 30 for The Wombles and 34 for The Shrimps. But they both possess rather unflattering goals conceded numbers, 36 and 49 respectively.
