Brighton vs Arsenal Prediction, Odds and Betting Tips: Huge 140/1 double for Saturday evening

Brighton host Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday evening, live on Sky Sports at 5.30pm.
Brighton are seven matches without a league victory, which is their longest winless streak in the top flight since 2021. Meanwhile, Arsenal earned more points (85) than anyone else in 2024 and will be eager to claim the win given the pace Liverpool have set at the top of the table.
Tom Winch has previewed the match and supplied his best bets below, including a huge 140/1 double.
Brighton vs Arsenal Predictions
Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton side are priced at 7/2 for all three points. That's fair, given their stuttering run of results. The Seagulls failed to beat Southampton and Leicester but left Villa Park with a share of the spoils last time out. BTTS - Yes has won in seven of nine matches here. The home side scored 17 of their 19 Premier League matches, an encouraging statistic.
Arsenal have conceded in eight consecutive away days. Mikel Arteta’s side boast the 4th best away record in the division. Newcastle and Bournemouth have prevented the Gunners from finding the back of the net. The North London club scored 20 goals on the road, a figure only bettered by Liverpool and Chelsea.
I'm confident that both sides will get on the scoresheet. Brighton have created 1.0xG or greater in every match at the Amex this term. Despite their hefty injury list, there’s still plenty to like about Brighton in attack. Julio Enciso, Yankuba Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma and Joao Pedro are likely to start. Ipswich has been the only side to come here and create next to nothing. Southampton managed 10 shots and 1.01xG when they visited. I’d be shocked if the hosts earned a clean sheet, they’ve managed four across 19 matches this campaign.
Arsenal have picked up their attacking intent away from home after a sluggish start. They failed to record an xG greater than 1.0 in their opening four away fixtures. In their previous five Arteta’s side has been excellent and has created 1.5xG or greater in each. Despite Bukayo Saka’s absence, there is still plenty of threat from all areas of the pitch. Arsenal have had 14 scorers this term, with nine players registering multiple strikes.
Adding each side to receive a card boosts the price up nicely. Brighton have seen a card in 18 of their 19 matches this season; all of their opponents have picked up a caution. It’s an immaculate record for Arsenal on their travels with both the Gunners and their opponents being booked in 10 away days. This selection won at the Emirates earlier in the season.

A 140/1 punt sounds extreme, and yeah, the chances of this are super slim. Yet, I think this has a chance. We all know about Arsenal and their corner kicks and Gabriel is their biggest threat in the air with the Brazilian scoring three Premier League goals this term. Each has arrived away from home, and all have come from his head.
Julio Enciso is a shot demon. The Paraguayan doesn’t really care where he is on the pitch, he’s just looking to have a pop. The 20-year-old has had limited game time this term but is likely to start in the number 10 once again. The last time Enciso played at the Amex, he unleashed eight shots, and they all arrived in the opening 45 minutes. An impressive 13 of Enciso’s 20 shots have come from outside the box. He’s yet to score this season, but those averages are ridiculous. You may remember Enciso’s stunner against Man City in the 22/23 campaign. We shouldn’t question his ability.
