Brighton vs. Fulham Betting Tips: Back The Seagulls to dominate on Sunday

In one of Sunday's three 2pm precursors to the Manchester derby, 7th place Brighton host 13th place Fulham at the Amex.
Brighton cruised past strugglers Ajax on Thursday to help break a five-game winless run. Roberto De Zerbi's side have netted the third-highest goals tally in the division (22) but have shipped more than any other Premier League team outside of the bottom three (18). If The Seagulls are to initiate some longevity to their season they'll need to solve their defensive issues.
Fulham's season is unfolding about exactly how most expected. Marco Silva has his team nestled around mid-table, a point behind Chelsea and Crystal Palace ahead of them, and level with Wolves on 11 points after nine games. It's been an unspectacular start, but then with the crucial loss of star forward Aleksandar Mitrovic and the speculation surrounding their manager, The Cottagers were never expected to pull up trees anyway.
Brighton vs Fulham Tips
Having highlighted Brighton's poor defensive record and recent winless streak, it'd be easy to make a case for avoiding the hosts in the match result market. However, there's weight to pairing them up with a goals line of three or more at above evens.
Three of Brighton's wins this season have arrived at the Amex, with this trio of matches each containing over 2.5 goals. Given how Fulham have only netted eight times in nine Premier League outings this term - three of which came against Sheffield United two games ago - the second half of this bet is a better route to take than backing both teams to score.
Silva's men travel slightly worse than they've performed at home, picking up five points on the road. Draws with Arsenal and Palace can somewhat skew those optics, but that being said, the nature of how Brighton play under De Zerbi leaves them susceptible to a good hammering if they don't approach this game with caution.
The Albion have steamrolled similar teams in the bottom half of the table this season, handing out 4-1 losses to Luton and Wolves and also beating Bournemouth 3-1, which is a warning well worth heeding for Sunday's visitors.
Doubling down on our prediction of Brighton to win this game sees us side with Brighton to win both halves of their match with Fulham.
Fulham have scored just two first half goals this season, conceding four more goals than they've put away themselves in the opening 45 minutes of their nine PL fixtures.
Brighton have been outscored 6-9 in the first half of matches this term, however, six of those have come in their last three matches against competitive opposition in Aston Villa, Liverpool and Man City.
In second halves Brighton have been incredibly dominant, winning the second 45 minutes of games by an aggregate of 16-9. In Fulham's case, they've given a slightly better showing, scoring six goals but not enough to balance out the nine they've let in.
This bet has been successful in five of Brighton's six wins this term, including their Europa League victory over Ajax this week. The selection has also landed in three of Fulham's four defeats, with two quickfire Chelsea goals in the first half proving the only outlier.
