Arsenal vs. Brighton Predictions: The Gunners to get their season back on track on Saturday afternoon

In a game where both sides will be looking to get their Premier League seasons back on track, Arsenal host Brighton at 3pm on Saturday.
Arsenal vs Brighton Tips
Arsenal were in some good form before Monday, where they were on a run of one defeat in eight league games. That was all to change when they visited Selhurst Park, where they were absolutely decimated by Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace side. In all honesty the 3-0 probably didn’t do Palace justice, and that result has left Arsenal in fifth, behind North London rivals Tottenham, although they do have a game in hand.
The Gunners will be disheartened by the news that Kieran Tierney is out for the season, with Thomas Partey also being ruled out for at least the next few weeks.
Brighton seem to be having the same problems as always under Graham Potter. Gaining plaudits for their ambitious style of play, but so often lacking that cutting edge to put games away. A draw against Norwich put an end to a six-game losing streak, and with there being no danger of The Seagulls being relegated, it seems like the club’s mind may already be looking to next season, whether Potter would like it or not.
Jakub Moder sadly ruptured his ACL in their game at Norwich, which will see him on the sidelines for an extended period. Adam Webster may be included in the squad, but isn’t likely to be risked on return from a groin injury.
As ever, we’ve previewed the game, and put together two tips for it.
Starting off, we’re looking at the team to win and both teams to score market. Before their defeat at Palace on Monday, this bet had landed in two of Arsenal’s previous three wins, against Leicester and Aston Villa. Brighton have scored just two goals in all competitions since the start of February, and I expect that trend to continue here.
Maupay looks out of sorts, and Welbeck has never been considered prolific in his career, and with The Gunners looking to put on a show at home and reignite their charge for the top four, expect it to be one way traffic on Saturday afternoon.
Secondly, we’re looking to Arsenal’s star boy to provide an assist on Saturday. He has form in the fixture, putting up two assists in his four previous games against Brighton. Saka’s been in good form for his side this season, directly contributing to 14 goals in the Premier League, and with Brighton most likely deploying a back 3, there could be space for him to exploit.
With Arsenal’s attacking wave coming in the form of Odegaard, Martinelli and Saka, there should be enough room to get in behind Brighton’s wing-backs, and with the visitors expecting to do plenty of defending, expect chances to be created.
As ever, best of luck if you’re following these bets, and please gamble responsibly.
