AC Milan vs. Inter Milan Bet Builder Tips: Two players to be carded in 13/1 double at the San Siro

AC Milan face Inter Milan in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening and we’ve asked Anthony Eadson to provide us with his best bet builder tips for the occasion.
It’s two players ‘to be carded’ that have caught our eye for this one, with the double paying 13/1 with either Paddy Power or the Betfair Sportsbook.
AC Milan vs Inter Milan Tips
Champions League knockout ties can often yield a high number of cards and we are hoping that trend continues here with two players to find their way into the book on Wednesday.
The first selection is Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez who is a stand-out top price of 7/2 for a card with Paddy Power, with most other betting sites going considerably shorter such as bet365 at 8/5 and BetVictor at 17/10.
The Argentine forward has already picked up two yellow cards in the Champions League this season and was also booked against AC Milan when the two sides met in the SuperCoppa final back in January.
It has been 13 years since Inter last reached the last-four of this competition and we think this will be a scrappy encounter with plenty of fouls. Across his last five meetings with AC Milan, Martinez has given away 11 fouls and we fancy him to pick up a card in this huge game.
The other player on our radar is Sandro Tonali. No player has picked up more cards for Stefano Pioli’s side this season, with the defensive midfielder being shown 10 yellows in total across all formats.
Tonali is another player who was booked when AC faced Inter in the SuperCoppa final earlier this year. He has given away at least one foul in 16 of his last 18 appearances in Serie A, and combining him with Lautaro Martinex to be carded, pays a very backable 13/1 at the time of writing.
